to expect a text after we slept together?

BigOCupOfTea · 25/10/2015 13:43

So I've been seeing a guy for around a month and we had our fifth date and I stayed at his and we slept together.

We both left early as he had work.

He would have finished work by now and I've heard nothing from him.

Am I expecting too much?

LineyReborn · 25/10/2015 19:39

You can put the chairs up on the tables, Brenda.

Axekick · 25/10/2015 19:39

Unfortunately nasty is remembered more than kind :(

very true! I'll think of you everytime I open my favourite wine Wink

ClashCityRocker · 25/10/2015 19:40

I don't know, I'd expect a text.

But then, I wouldn't have any qualms about sending the first text.

If it turns out he guys an arsehole, he isn't going to be any less of an arsehole if you text first.

Hope the text was ok op.

helenahandbag · 25/10/2015 19:41

I wouldn't assume that the text was bad.

I have asked the OP several questions, which she has ignored, throughout the thread.

scribblegirl · 25/10/2015 19:50

Haha @ all the posters who told her she was needy now demanding to know what the text said because they can't function until they know Wink

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 25/10/2015 19:52

I don't think men have all the power.

I don't feel that when I have sex with someone I am giving them something. I choose to have sex with them. I choose whether to contact them afterwards.

It's only a game if you make it one. And game is kind of a misrepresentation, it's not actually fun. It's more like an exercise in self control.

Anyway, OP, I hope it was fun and I hope his text was good. If he's turned out to be a twat, try not to beat yourself up.

OpheliaMoo · 25/10/2015 19:52

Perhaps they're busy shagging, which is why she hasn't been back Halloween Wink

AnchorDownDeepBreath · 25/10/2015 19:53

(I'm 25, if that's relevant. Maybe it's more equal for the 20s dating scene? I don't know).

Axekick · 25/10/2015 19:54

Bloody hell Axel you've really pissed on someones chips this evening haven't you!

It's ok...I will answer to Axel too Grin

And yes I have.....I am a chip pissing viper!! Grin

pinot day made..thanks. Grin

pinotblush · 25/10/2015 19:54

If you go to the next level with a man then of course you expect the pattern to stay the same or increase.

If the man OP is talking about didnt do that then I'd get shot of him.

He has not done the right thing.

pinotblush · 25/10/2015 19:55

ok then axe.

Axekick · 25/10/2015 19:55

Haha @ all the posters who told her she was needy now demanding to know what the text said because they can't function until they know

This made me laugh because it's true!! Grin

pinotblush · 25/10/2015 19:57

you aren't making sense axe, when did you open the wine? Grin

SurferJet · 25/10/2015 19:57

I don't think men have all the power but I do think the man should treat the woman with respect & be the first to text.

But I'm also glad I'm no longer dating, I'd be a nervous wreck checking my phone every 5 minutes.

ICantThinkOfAUsernameH · 25/10/2015 19:58

Haha yeah it is true I'm obsessively checking back for an update Blush

WorraLiberty · 25/10/2015 19:59
