to expect a text after we slept together?

BigOCupOfTea · 25/10/2015 13:43

So I've been seeing a guy for around a month and we had our fifth date and I stayed at his and we slept together.

We both left early as he had work.

He would have finished work by now and I've heard nothing from him.

Am I expecting too much?

pinotblush · 25/10/2015 18:59

The OP expected the right thing to be done.

It didn't happen.

Axekick · 25/10/2015 19:00

There was some Moldovan bribery

I googled this and still don't know it means...sorry Blush

LineyReborn · 25/10/2015 19:02

I would like to point out that the bribery came not from Moldova, the former Soviet republic cruelly severed from its mother country Romania, but rather Moldavia, home of the valiant Prince Michael Praed and Lady Collins of Krystle Carrington-Maze.

SeldomAthleticFC · 25/10/2015 19:02

Obviously it was a nice text and OP is all loved up and no longer needs us. I feel used. :-(

sakura · 25/10/2015 19:03

She's not texting for obvious reasons. Can't believe some of you don't get why Confused It's the man's place to text because in male culture sex is a conquest. The OP has "given it up'" because she liked him. The very LEAST he can do is text her.

DON'T TEXT

LineyReborn · 25/10/2015 19:03

Axe you can't Google quality history like that, you have to live it.

sakura · 25/10/2015 19:04

Oops, got to page 10

Goingtobeawesome · 25/10/2015 19:04

I need to know what he said !!!!!! No wifi in five minutes.

ScarletRuby2 · 25/10/2015 19:06

Oh, dear god.

IfNotNowThenWhenever · 25/10/2015 19:06

Ephelant · 25/10/2015 19:07

Don't text op

CerseiHeartsJaime4ever · 25/10/2015 19:07

I don't think YABU OP. When there is proper promise in the relationship, I have never known there not to be a text the next day saying "last night was nice" or "thanks for a great evening" etc.

Cheesy but reassuring. On the occasions there have been no text, it's always been bad news. Even if I texted.

But he has texted now so its all sorted Grin

peggyundercrackers · 25/10/2015 19:07

Maybe they are away willy waggling again...

Gazelda · 25/10/2015 19:09

Thing is, OP is now in a right tricky situation.
If she responds to text immediately, she risks him thinking she's been waiting for him to text all day.
If she nonchalently waits a while, how long before he gets itchy?

MammaTJ · 25/10/2015 19:09

He's just text now

THEN NOTHING ELSE!! WHAT IS THIS TORTURE?

SAFEGATE ALL OVER AGAIN!

LineyReborn · 25/10/2015 19:12

The correct length of time is 55 minutes.

TRexingInSportsDirect · 25/10/2015 19:12

Well, what did he say?

iPaid · 25/10/2015 19:13

Sakura - do you have DC? If so I hope you're not bringing them up to believe this crap.

pinotblush · 25/10/2015 19:14

If communication patterns decrease after sex where you want a relationship - get shot of them.

His text will be purely wishy washy and keeping you there maybe for another emotionally univested visit.

PolShelby · 25/10/2015 19:15

I've just RTFT and I need to know what the text said! Please OP!! Don't leave us hanging.

Axekick · 25/10/2015 19:15

Axe you can't Google quality history like that, you have to live it.

You mean Google does not hold all the answers?ShockShockShock

Unfortunately this is the difference between boys and girls. It will never change as much as you think it will or pretend it has.

ScarletRuby2 · 25/10/2015 19:19

Pinot and the longer people like you perpetuate this myth the more ridiculous this world becomes

pinotblush · 25/10/2015 19:22

Its not a myth at all.

Men and women are different.

The longer you pretend they arent the more confusing life becomes for both parties.
