To wonder why there has STILL been no donation?

This has probably been done, I know there was a long running thread about this very subject but I can't find it?
So, several months on I see Dax's parents have still not made the promised donation to Ronald McDonald hospice. On March 2nd they updated the Facebook page to say they works be making the donation 'very soon', but still nothing.
Am I the only one thinking they have no intention of donating any money out of the tens of thousands donated to them? That in fact they intend to keep it all and deny the very charity that provided them with so much support in the early weeks of their Childs life?
In fact, I don't think im the only one judging by the comments on the Facebook page.
I think they're hoping it will blow over and if they keep quiet long enough people will forget.

Really early on there was talk of her parents and TD flying out to see them and using some of the fundraising money to pay for flights. When people start questioning why they quickly backtracked and said no money is being used for flights and in the end only the parents went out. Now Richard being this so called close friend was all up for going out to visit them (when he thought he could use the donated money) but once their was some uproar he decided not to go ....clearly didn't want to pay out of his own pocket. If locals can only raise £600 well clearly they are not as popular or well loved in their local community of maybe the locals know they are fairly well off. I would of expected a local community to have raise a few few thousands and Lincolnshire is not small by any means.

I hope someone is able to get screenshots of the comments, lots of people having their say now.

That photo is the RMH in New York. It was posted earlier in the day that they left the hospital and flew home by private jet. They don't live in a luxury flat or apartment, they live in a re ted bungalow in a village just outside Skegness.

No that's not right. They had a picture of that room and that fireplace on their profile before they even went to NY. I assume that the 'private jet' comment is facetious because we all know that they were told that their (first class) flights would be valid to fly home with the airline whenever they wanted.

Do you honestly RMH have leather pouffes, silk sofas, modern fires and rugs like that? There's absolutely no way a room furnished like that would be suitable for accommodation for the families of sick children? They might live in rented accommodation and it might be a bungalow but that is it and it's luxurious. Just because somewhere is rented doesn't mean it's a flop house.

I don't know if the picture was taken by someone else while they were in NY but that is their home. There were pics of it up before they even went to NY.

Moan it is not their home. I don't want to argue with you, not least because it detracts from the point of the thread. The baby shower was held in NYC.

Lee's attitude of sticking his hands over his ears, hoping this discussion will go away & calling us 'trolls' is quite galling to me, especially when I recall my bald 3-year old son in a bone marrow transplant cubicle in GOSH in December 1990, with a white cell count of 1 & no neutrophils, a nationwide flu epidemic, a London Ambulance Service strike, 15-month old twins at home & no parental accommodation. Thanks to the Salvation Army hostel we were given a room. I'd post a heart-rending photo, but I've got more respect for my son's privacy than that.

I am pretty sure I saw on the DM update that the insurance company paid for a private jet back. I would say I am about 90% sure it was a private flight.

I am 100% sure that RMHNY threw them a baby shower.

Lindas comments on fb are bizarre. Does she donate to every prem baby in the UK? Individually? If not why not? What drew her to donating to dax in particular, if not all the bleeding heart shit that fell out of TDs brain?

They had a private flight back for medical reasons obv covered by insurance as its far cheaper for insurance to fly them back then continue to cover the US costs for another month or so

Okay didn't know it was a private jet. I don't know where the DM pictures were taken but that room with the Fire, pouffe and sofa was definitely in pictures on their Facebook. I remember it distinctly because it shocked me they lived in a house like that but kept the money.

Maybe they used a grandparents or friends house which was a bit more down at heel for the sake of show? It's not like they're not capable of being deceptive now is it?

The room was in the background of several pre New York pictures. I think one was the picture of his baby Nikes.
