To wonder why there has STILL been no donation?

This has probably been done, I know there was a long running thread about this very subject but I can't find it?
So, several months on I see Dax's parents have still not made the promised donation to Ronald McDonald hospice. On March 2nd they updated the Facebook page to say they works be making the donation 'very soon', but still nothing.
Am I the only one thinking they have no intention of donating any money out of the tens of thousands donated to them? That in fact they intend to keep it all and deny the very charity that provided them with so much support in the early weeks of their Childs life?
In fact, I don't think im the only one judging by the comments on the Facebook page.
I think they're hoping it will blow over and if they keep quiet long enough people will forget.

Yup Rubyrooo. Here is a screenshot from the fb page - the first is on Jan 2 stating the insurance now paying and so money is now going to cover xxxx, then after that post is the second post (image 2) stating the gofundme site is back up and running as it was suspended. At the point Richard got the site back up and running he didn't update it even know he knew the insurance covered the bills. He only updated the gofundme site 24hours later. In that 24hrs it went from something like £5k to almost £10k.

There is no excuse for the gofundme site not to have been updated he made excuses saying he was busy but he was not too busy to post on fb and delete comments where people where telling him to update the site.

Infact if you read the message in the first image they state 'Our fundraising efforts were intended to be just locally on a small scale. It was never intended to cover £130,000 medical costs. It was and is our way of helping our friends to not have to worry about money allowing them to concentrate on Baby Dax.'

So the money was never to cover medical bills yet they set up a site saying so and went to the press as well saying the insurance would never pay out. They also put 'Due to the publicity that has gone on around the whole story, it has forced them to pay!' yet there are later posts saying they were waiting for confirmation because of the xmas period - so this is also another lie.

And with donations looking as if they reached around or over the £20,000 mark...there should be a heck of a lot of excess left. Unless, ya know, it was blown.

The press could disclose in their article How much L&K were paid for the articles too.

#3 - Accommodation in New York. Isn't this also misleading as the accommodation was provided free from RMHNY?

Guy Williams I'll say this. I have been with you guys from day one and was touched by your story. I could only imagine something so harrowing happening to me I wouldn't know what to do or even where to start!
You went through so much with Dax and it's great that all has worked out. I was sickened by all the negativity that came on the page to the point I almost left.

When the news came out that a donation was being made I couldn't help but laugh at what their faces would look like not to mention all the fantastic work that could be done with rmh, Dax will leave a true legacy! His tale will help countless lives and all the naysayers would have to eat their words.

Now though as this thread has developed I have started to see certain things, actions on your part that have shed a light on a lot of answered questions.

I donated to your cause, we have 3 children and we wanted to help. We couldn't really afford it, but that wasn't the point we WANTED to help.

Now after seeing the recent actions of this page (I don't know who admin are) we feel like we have been taken for a ride, we didn't mind the money being donated, like I said it's Dax leaving a legacy. Now though I have to say that it looks like the naysayers were actually right. I can't believe that and it's hard for us to accept but we cannot find any valid reasons as to why your recent activity on here has been so underhand.

With that I am no longer a supporter of this page. I truly wish Dax all the best but cannot be involved with a group who can do such to a charity

I can't believe this saga hasn't hit the papers !
I would be bloody livid if I'd donated and would definitely be asking for it back in order to donate to someone more worthy .
I tweeted all the scandal rags but nothing has appeared .

I'm sure L & K if not TD must be reading this (or the good people of Skegness are telling them what we're saying). Surely they can see that people are screenshotting everything they delete, now's the time to come clean and tell everyone the whole truth.

Can anyone remember the celebrities that tweeted/posted about the story in the early days? Might be worth updating them, especially now a charity has been denied the donations.

So TD is 36/7 with a 21 year old girlfriend and posts pictures taken if her cleavage when she's sleeping inviting his mates to ogle. Yuk.

That Guy Williams is totally sincere. I was on the Dax Scam of NY page and he was on there standing up for them. When they said they were going to donate the excess I made a post saying that I thought it was a good solution for everybody and I didn't think there was much point people carrying on labouring the point. Obviously I was wrong about that.

Someone, I'm fairly certain it was him, sent me a message saying thanks and liked the post. He was standing up for them and for TD. But yes he was very much amongst their core of supporters. It's very sad it's turned out like this. I stood up for them after they offered the donation. I truly couldn't believe that anybody could sit in a hospital seeing children suffering through painful and gruelling cancer treatment and then pocket cash that could help alleviate a little bit of their families suffering when they were sharing a house with these people seeing what they were going through.

I feel conned, it's not nice to feel conned like that. But the major point is that I cannot understand what sort of people could take money away from a cause like that when the people it's helping are right in front of their faces. It sucks. It's absolutely immoral. One can only hope that if Dax is presented with a trust fund based on stolen donations he has the moral fibre to refuse it and donate it.

Unfortunately I suspect that Dax is going to be brought up with his parents values which will very much be 'look after number 1, sod the sick children buy yourself a quad bike and designer threads'. Sad there are people like this in the world.

A journalist would be mad not to pick this story up. It basically writes itself with all the screen-shot evidence in black and white!

It seems the papers arent interested as they have to admit they got taken in by the scam too. Poor dax

The moaners who donated get their posts deleted then blocked. They also get threats from the supporters when asking for the donation back.

RMHNY even gave L&K a baby shower.

Linda's argument on the page is daft; SHE may have donated "to Dax," but something about HIS story obviously compelled her to do so! She can't say how many people donated under the false pretense of a huge medical bill, felt miffed/conned/irritated/deceived when it became clear there was no medical bill, but then became appeased by the promise of the rest of the fund going to RMHNY. Those are the people who are starting to speak up I bet. I hope more come forward.

9That's not RMH. That's their own house. I recognize it from pictures they had posted on their profiles while it was still open.

I know it sounds odd that people looked, but it was really shocking. They obviously live in a luxury house/apartment. All their furniture appears to be almost new and they have expensive features like the fire. Then there were all the pictures of the bikes and the multiple expensive cars. Plus of course expensive first class holidays in NY shopping on 5th Avenue.

These are not people on their uppers. They can quite clearly more than afford to support themselves. It's sad when you have people like Guy who've really supported them and donated when they couldn't really afford to.

I'm wondering if lee and tricky were in cahoots to milk this situation for all its worth and for lee to then put all the money into trickys new gym......OR lee owes tricky money?
