Pregnant and going through that horrible off food stage, but occasionally someone talks about something or I see it on tv and it has my mouth watering and appetite suddenly raging. I'm hoping for a few of these-preferably things that are v quick to grab/make as otherwise I could lose my appetite half way through cooking!
Tell me your best and yummiest quick treats (sweet and savoury)please!!

Helenemos- supermodels and cheese, I laughed out loud ! (Supernoodles and cheese I assume is what was meant.

Mine is really thick porridge made with milk (so thick my spoon would stand up in it) warm (must be warm, not hot or cold) with a few raisins sprinkled in. The raisins must be added whilst the porridge is still hot and stirred in so they plump and soften up. It's bliss, my absolute fave. I also love baked potatoes when the cheese melts all into it. This may be as I only ever eat the lower fat stuff which doesn't melt in the same way so it's a real treat if ever I have the proper stuff.

(disclaimer: I'm on a limited diet and don't eat added sugar so may have warped taste buds.

At first salt and vinegar square walkers crisps! Now anything I see apart from sausages! The greasy smell of them turns my stomach! Confused GrinGrin I'm now 33 weeks and constantly hungry! Only problem is I can't fit that much in now! Hmm Grin

mumofthreegirls80 · 24/10/2014 10:25

Oh not forgetting my phase of hotdogs, pickles, cheese and pineapple! Yeah and I had them on cocktail sticks hahaha GrinGrin

Hemlock Ah, Henderson's... Sheffield's best kep secret. I may live in the SE now but I have a stash under the stairs and a DS who loves it too despite being a southerner Grin (Got to educate his tastebuds properly!)

Pot noodles. Blush Pref beef and tomato but will stretch to chicken and mushroom if they're on offer. I know they're bad but...

Smash. Preferably the old form that was in pea-sized granules. I used to eat them straight from the tub!

Lola's cupcakes I usually order 9 mini ones and eat them over 2 days.
Sliced sourdough bread, slathered with onion chutney dipped in melted Camembert. Spicy Homemade somosas with tomato ketchup.

CookieB · 24/10/2014 13:02

White bread topped with thick slices of extra mature cheddar and grilled til almost burnt. Add lots of chopped up silverskin pickles and ground black pepper. Yum.

Really want this now with a mug of strong sweet tea as that seems to bring out the nippiness of the pepper.

SmashingInAthleticWear · 24/10/2014 13:39

This is frozen mini kievs, chips and garlic bread all cooked in the oven served with mayo...

Swap the mayo for three gallons of vinegar on the chips and this is my standard hangover lunch. Chuffing lovely.

(I'm not pregnant before anyone worries about my drinking!)

I was thinking earlier that I'm at a stage where I can start eating proper healthy meals without feeling sick, like with vegetables and everything... Buuuut for my tea tonight I'm having chips, egg, beans and onion rings. Stuff of dreams Grin

Inkanta · 24/10/2014 20:42

Also a porridge lover here ... with double cream, golden syrup and a sprinkling of sugar.

Heaven must be missing an angel. Smile

ZingOfSeven · 27/10/2014 17:08
