Pregnant and going through that horrible off food stage, but occasionally someone talks about something or I see it on tv and it has my mouth watering and appetite suddenly raging. I'm hoping for a few of these-preferably things that are v quick to grab/make as otherwise I could lose my appetite half way through cooking!
Tell me your best and yummiest quick treats (sweet and savoury)please!!

Macaroni cheese Grin

Birdiegirl · 22/10/2014 20:00

Nutella straight from the jar Shock. I am 8 weeks pg so I'm blaming hormones!

FeelTheNoise · 22/10/2014 20:00

However this wouldn't have worked while pregnant Confused
Maybe surround yourself with fruit, nuts and cheese to pick at?

MrsHowardRoark · 22/10/2014 20:01

Cheese on toast with coleslaw on top. Food of the Gods.

skiingcat · 22/10/2014 20:01

Chocolate digestives and cream cheese..

Iggly · 22/10/2014 20:02

Baked Camembert with warm ciabatta

Gemzybelle · 22/10/2014 20:04

15 weeks pregnant - my DH keeps being forced to buying me strawberries and melting galaxy chocolate to dip them in

ShesEverSoFamous · 22/10/2014 20:05

Chips, mozzarella cheese and then curry sauce on top. Amazing from the chippy near me. I wish I hadn't already ate dinner!

I love these threads. I love filthy food inspiration.

UsedtobeFeckless · 22/10/2014 20:06

Chocolate ginger biscuits ... The posh, expensive ones - I can eat a whole packet! Grin

Pifflingcodswollop · 22/10/2014 20:07

This is brilliant getting hungry already!

Dairylea spreadable on toast. I've just eaten 4 slices Grin

ClapHandsIfYouBelieveInFatties · 22/10/2014 20:12

Sorry but mine is Bird's Eye burgers with raw red onion and white buns.

Blush

I have had decent burgers....also can make a good one myself...but there's something so bloody dirtily tasty about a Bird's Eye one! I have two on one burger.

BettyFocker · 22/10/2014 20:19

Not had this in ages but McCains micro chips smothered in Bisto gravy. Those Fries to Go packs are lovely too but a bit too crispy for gravy for my liking.

Anyone remember those McCains microwave pizzas? Those rectangles on that you cooked on a foil tray? Those were the snacks of my yoof.

BettyFocker · 22/10/2014 20:20

Oh and Tesco do these "sharing" bags of tortilla chips by a brand called Eastman's. Chilli ones. I ate a bag to myself last week.

WorraLiberty · 22/10/2014 20:22

Cheese and onion on toast, with herbs and HP sauce.

I don't feel guilty about it, but it's definitely a pleasure.

PinkSquash · 22/10/2014 20:22

Yorkshire puddings and Nutella. Lush. The whole reason I make double the necessary yorkies on a roast

HermioneWeasley · 22/10/2014 20:25

S'mores

avocadotoast · 22/10/2014 20:25

Corned beef sandwiches. White bread only, I can't bear brown at the moment.

And also... Crackers with Philadelphia... Chips and gravy... Beans & sausages on toast. Yum!

TheWhispersOfTheGods · 22/10/2014 20:26

I'll sometimes make a ganache, flavor with coffee, tinned caramel or hazelnut syrup and eat it with a spoon pretending it's fancy chocolates just a different shape Blush not even pregnant oh the shame - but seriously if Nutella with a spoon is your bag this knocks it out of the park.

Mrsgrumble · 22/10/2014 20:27

Micro chips and garlic mayo are my quick go to in pregnancy

drive through McDonald's Blush

WhatWouldBlairWaldorfDo · 22/10/2014 20:31

Fish finger butty, but instead of plain bread use cheese on toast.
Best. Thing. Ever!

If you're feeling really crazy put ketchup under the cheese...heaven

Miriama · 22/10/2014 20:40

Cheese and marmite on toast, pate on toast, any kind of stinky cheese..! I quite like what we used to call a council house tea - not sure why! This is frozen mini kievs, chips and garlic bread all cooked in the oven served with mayo...
