Pacific , have you clicked on your own link??!!

ILoveTurnips · 22/09/2014 17:29

If you have to walk far with heavy bags I think you would be daft not to.

I think they look fine. If I didnt have a car I would definitly get one.

AlpacaLypse · 22/09/2014 17:30

I was still only 38 when I got mine owl

Futurebird · 22/09/2014 17:31

Donthave, THat's perfect. I literally would take it everywhere!

I'd certainly lose weight quicker if I had one. It's really annoying to drive to town when I could easily walk because of the shopping.

I keep walking then getting myself in a knackered carrier bag tiz.

Ahem.

Link to shopping trolley with freezer compartment
Honest.

Small mistake upthread Blush

'Tis a nice drawing though, isn't it Grin

WorraLiberty · 22/09/2014 17:34

I couldn't live without my shopping trolley! Grin

But a word of advice OP. The one in the pic looks like it has plastic wheels.

I went through 4 of those in a year because when you go down a kerb (however gently) they sometimes shatter.

I've spent many an embarrassed trek home, dragging my wheel-less trolley behind me...making a god awful scraping sound on the pavement Blush

I bought one with rubber wheels for just a few quid more and it's lasted me over 2 years so far.

smallandimperfectlyformed · 22/09/2014 17:36

PacificDogwood the freezer trolley says it's not suitable for anyone under 5" so I can't use it!!

PacificDogwood · 22/09/2014 17:38

Oooh, technical advice - that's actually a really important consideration. Not sure I'd've thought of that, Worra.
I am so getting one now.

Look at the choice of colours!
And I think it has rubber wheels, no?

PacificDogwood · 22/09/2014 17:41

small, they do a smaller version, I think? Hang on a minute...

WorraLiberty · 22/09/2014 17:41

Hark at me being all technical Grin

Yes, the wheels on that look exactly like mine.

PacificDogwood · 22/09/2014 17:42

Petite range but I think no cooling compartment, sorry

PacificDogwood · 22/09/2014 17:43

Stop it!
Now I bought 500!! Shock

halfdrunkcoffee · 22/09/2014 17:46

Definitely not. They're very useful.

WorraLiberty · 22/09/2014 17:47

Shock Shock Shock That reminds me of the first time I ever shopped online. Tescos turned up with 11 jars of coffee Blush

AngelsWithSilverWings · 22/09/2014 17:49

I have one for when we go to the beach as I can get the cool bag, the towels and swimming stuff and the picnic blanket in it. I can also put a camping chair on top and strap it on.

My kids were so embarrassed the first time we used it but now they can see how useful it is they don't mind it all all.

But they still call it mum's old ladies shopping trolley.

justwondering72 · 22/09/2014 17:50

Here in France every single person has a shopping trolley, from simple plastic single wheeled ones to huge, triple wheeled, freezer compartment built in jobs. I have graduated to one of the latter iver time, it practically goes up kerbs on its own! If you shop in local shops, or a market and don't do a big weekely supermarket shop, you'd be mad not to have a caddie.

WorraLiberty · 22/09/2014 17:51

They're also great if you have to take a trip to the launderette

specialmagiclady · 22/09/2014 17:54

I love mine! She is called Dorothy, after the one in Tootsie. She is altogether marvellous - a Rolser so not cheap but she is plainly a high quality person.

poolomoomon · 22/09/2014 17:58

They're really in fashion atm. I see a lot of students with animal print ones, saw a tartan one the other day- tartan is very in atm Wink. I think I'm going to need one when we finally wave goodbye to pushchair days very soon, need to fill the basket gap.

londonrach · 22/09/2014 18:01

Havent one but i can inform you if you go to the posh food markets in london at the weekend all the 20 somethings have nice ones, whole foods (very posh food shop) has alot of people using these... (Wonders off to look at them)
