To block this car in...

I'm at my mum's. she lives on a a fairly narrow hill, you can park on the road but it's best if you park half on the pavement. I'm going camping for the weekend with friends who are coming to pick me up in an hour. I've just popped to the shops for supplies of crisps and wine and some cheeky bugger has parked on my mum's drive.

I've text all my family and no one has any knowledge of this car. Would I be a total arse to just reverse onto the drive right upto their bumper and leave my car there for the weekend? I really don't want to leave my car half on the pavement for a whole weekend. A few of the NDNs have double buggies and there won't be enough room for them to pass. I also don't want to leave my shiny lovely car under the tree on the road cos it will be covered in bird poo and tree sap when I get back.

Mum is also away this weekend too so I can't even leave the keys. Grrrrrr.

Leeds2 · 15/08/2014 16:24

I would be tempted to let the tyres down.

Blatherskite · 15/08/2014 16:26

That car has been there for what? 5 hours now! Someone is seriously taking the piss!

Fairydust7715 · 15/08/2014 16:27

First ever place marking :) but only because I am about to board a 6 hour flight and my eldest has just come rushing through gate asking if the car has been moved yet, I think I may being spreading my mumsnet love to my daughter a bit too much :)

KissMyFatArse · 15/08/2014 16:31

Any update??? I need to know!

RandomFriend · 15/08/2014 16:33

Has OP gone camping?

GormlessNormTheGardenGnome · 15/08/2014 16:39

Get it towed. Then deny all knowledge.

Come on then OP. What is happening?

ClashCityRocker · 15/08/2014 16:46

Place marking too!

CerealMom · 15/08/2014 16:48

How about getting it towed to car park. The owner would be thinking 'where the fnuck is my car?'. The car's safe, shame it wouldn't have a ticket...

SquinkiesRule · 15/08/2014 16:49

Place marking here too. I hope she's blocked the car in and gone off for a lovely time.

cosysocks · 15/08/2014 16:52
