To block this car in...

I'm at my mum's. she lives on a a fairly narrow hill, you can park on the road but it's best if you park half on the pavement. I'm going camping for the weekend with friends who are coming to pick me up in an hour. I've just popped to the shops for supplies of crisps and wine and some cheeky bugger has parked on my mum's drive.

I've text all my family and no one has any knowledge of this car. Would I be a total arse to just reverse onto the drive right upto their bumper and leave my car there for the weekend? I really don't want to leave my car half on the pavement for a whole weekend. A few of the NDNs have double buggies and there won't be enough room for them to pass. I also don't want to leave my shiny lovely car under the tree on the road cos it will be covered in bird poo and tree sap when I get back.

Mum is also away this weekend too so I can't even leave the keys. Grrrrrr.

I can't believe how cross I was on Friday now. Dsis would never be seen in sleepwear outside. She thinks I'm a tramp for owning converse! I bet she took half an hour to put on slap and choose an outfit!

Sorry for the logical ending, I'm pissed that I don't get to keep the alien car. I'm skint and a free car would be just the ticket!

Camping was great thanks Pictish. Lots of sleep and wine. Plus my toddler dream diet of chocolate, crisps, haribo and cake. I sense a fast day coming on tomorrow. Smile

Thanks OP, a classic tale of a moron getting a well deserved ear bashing.

Very much enjoyed this thread, great banter!

FWIW - I still want to know what a MN haircut/scarf combo looks like Confused

Kytti · 18/08/2014 06:21

diddl · 18/08/2014 08:37

Glad that you enjoyed your camping.

So your sister didn't bother to put your car back on the drive?

As for parking on the wrong drive??!!

So it seems that he had organised to park on the drive of a house he hadn't been to??

What an arse!

Tanith · 18/08/2014 12:30

Beryl, you are truly evil and deserve a lifetime ban from MN!

And I'm not at all saying that because I believed in the diamond drive - not a bit! Impartial, me...

(Anyone know where I can buy a spaghetti tree??)

Andrewofgg · 18/08/2014 12:57

Oh to have been there (1) when mystery parker learnt about his cock-up and (2) when OP went online and saw the length of the thread!

nickelbabe · 18/08/2014 17:07

nickelbabe · 18/08/2014 17:10

I am happy with result, but I think we definitely need more information about the blow up from dsis and more about the shouting from the alien cunt parker.
