To block this car in...

I'm at my mum's. she lives on a a fairly narrow hill, you can park on the road but it's best if you park half on the pavement. I'm going camping for the weekend with friends who are coming to pick me up in an hour. I've just popped to the shops for supplies of crisps and wine and some cheeky bugger has parked on my mum's drive.

I've text all my family and no one has any knowledge of this car. Would I be a total arse to just reverse onto the drive right upto their bumper and leave my car there for the weekend? I really don't want to leave my car half on the pavement for a whole weekend. A few of the NDNs have double buggies and there won't be enough room for them to pass. I also don't want to leave my shiny lovely car under the tree on the road cos it will be covered in bird poo and tree sap when I get back.

Mum is also away this weekend too so I can't even leave the keys. Grrrrrr.

Before you get it towed, get under the car and jam a king prawn up the air con intake pipe (there's got to be one somewhere, right?)

See how they like them apples.

I've just read all 371 comments. Maybe OP should just invite her friends to stay at her parents' tonight. It'd be more fun than pitching the tent in the dark!

SirChenjin · 15/08/2014 20:09

And all of MN is here waiting for the OP to return from her camping trip in a few days time and update us because we literally have nothing better to do

TurquoiseCat · 15/08/2014 20:11

Marking place - I always expect people from the local council building to park on my drive. If they do I might let the toddler do some throwing practice with bricks not really, but it would be so very very tempting

Letitbee · 15/08/2014 20:13

shamless placemarking
