I've been sent 4 photos of cocks in the last 4 days obviously I have given no invitation and haven't asked or suggested people send me pictures like this. And it has been pretty much within the first 2/3 texts after handing over my number intending to arrange a date.

You need zipit. It's an app aimed at teenagers that has loads of great pics to use as reply's for dirty pic requests. I think it's made by childline. Some of them are quite funny.

Why fight it with humour though?

The type of people sending these would assume by you sending them a funny answer, you liked their picture.

Telling them not to contact you and threatening them with the police will send a much clearer message.

It is sad that charities are having to arm children with things to respond to requests for obscene photos isn't it.

I don't think the police would do anything (assuming both parties over 16) is it a crime?? I think they'd laugh you out of the station unless it was stalking ie ongoing and pestering etc and even then not sure how seriosuly they'd take it if it's just texts.

No, the police are starting to take it seriously, it's classed as sharing indecent images wether you took them or not. I'm sure I read it the other day.

Even if the police are not interested (though I am quite sure they are it was consistent) that does not mean we should laugh it off or send silly pictures back that does not give the message that it is not acceptable

It should be reported more and with enough reports of someone doing this they should be charged with indecency
