To think pictures of your cock are probably not the best way to strike up romance

And wonder why lots of men appear to think it is.

I've been sent 4 photos of cocks in the last 4 days obviously I have given no invitation and haven't asked or suggested people send me pictures like this. And it has been pretty much within the first 2/3 texts after handing over my number intending to arrange a date.

Is this some new practise I'm unaware of?

That would be an instant dealbreaker in my books.

Aeroflotgirl · 27/07/2014 11:26

I would not like to be involved with somebody who thinks it's good to send me a picture of his schlong

Aeroflotgirl · 27/07/2014 11:29

Actually it makes dating easier, separating the wheat from the chaff quite easily!

Bunbaker · 27/07/2014 11:34

That's what I said upthread Aeroflotgirl

I am truly amazed that men think it is ok to woo a female this way. I find it utterly degrading. It says a lot about the sender IMO.

I shall have to conduct a survey at work to find out whether people actually do this.

I am so glad that I am not in the dating game these days.

Sapat · 27/07/2014 11:46

I use what's app all the time to communicate with my family who is spread over three countries! We only send each other pictures of food, children and cute babies, though, no genitals.

When I was at primary school I was sat with the naughty boys as I was very good. They were a hoot, but once a boy called Jerome waved his willy at me and I was mildly perplexed as to why he did this.

NeedsAsockamnesty · 27/07/2014 11:47

Obviously I wouldn't go on a date with anyone that sent me one

Vitalstatistix · 27/07/2014 11:47

Just text back

never mind, it's personality that counts.

Aeroflotgirl · 27/07/2014 11:51

I know Bun, it just shows the standard of men out there in the dating game is pretty poor!

FreudiansSlipper · 27/07/2014 11:53

I see it as no different from being flashed at it is to degrade the person receiving the picture I think so little of you I going to flash my cock I have no respect for you as a person

if on a site which is to meet others for casual sex then fine if dating site it should be reported

It makes me cringe when I hear grown women laughing about this and even worse when they then engage with these men and see it as a bit of a larf

Aeroflotgirl · 27/07/2014 11:53

Gosh bun were thinking a like I did not even read the whole thread before posting Grin

DollyTwat · 27/07/2014 12:02

I've been sent them
I was actually going to meet this one chap, was having a nice ordinary conversation, then a pic of his cock arrived

Why? Why would he do that?
I hadn't even spoken in person to the owner of it. All my friends, who I showed, laughed and said he'd even got a bit of a semi on to make it look bigger. The dh's of all my friends all laughed as well

I just showed it to everyone and we all fell about laughing at it. That's what actually happens to these pics

MsJupiter · 27/07/2014 12:12

I used to get cock pictures on MySpace, even though it said I was married. Generally alongside a romantic message such as 'du u hav webcam?' It is a very bizarre phenomenon.

Mind you I thought Snapchat was the app for dirty pics as they instantly disappear. Whatsapp is what I use to share family pics with my Mum!

Lexilicious · 27/07/2014 12:12

Omg they send pictures of their cocks flaccid??? How utterly pointless.

Aeroflotgirl · 27/07/2014 12:15

Gish mrs jupiter, just tells you the type of men that send them!

Holdthepage · 27/07/2014 12:17

Start marking them out of 10 & send them back.

Suzannewithaplan · 27/07/2014 12:25

I found it insulting but also instructive...the bloke has nailed his colours to the mast right from the get go.
He is a proto hominid, his theory of mind is rudimentary.

Do not waste any time on him, straight in the reject pile.

Suzannewithaplan · 27/07/2014 12:27

Then again if you are bored and enjoy teasing dumb animals he might provide some sport?

Ilovemydogandmydoglovesme · 27/07/2014 12:29

I am so glad I am married and don't have to worry about dating. And if there ever comes a time when I do have to worry about dating, I won't worry about dating. Ever.

RainbowB7 · 27/07/2014 12:31

Whatsapp is not an app intended for sending cock pics.

Sorry whoever told you that is having a laugh! Obviously you can send photos on it for free but being asked if you have whatsapp is in no way a hint that someone is going to send you a pic of his cock. It's a very popular and mainstream app used by pretty much everyone under a certain age? I barely know anyone who actually texts these days.

Lovingfreedom · 27/07/2014 12:35

I think if a woman wanted to see a pic for NSA sex purposes they'd probably request it. It would be quite unusual for someone to receive the pic out of the blue and be like 'oh super, you must have read my mind..'

FreudiansSlipper · 27/07/2014 12:35

Not all men are like this

it's time we took a stand against this crap dating sites that are marketing themselves where like minded people can find love friendship etc should encourage members to report this

In some states it is classed as sexual harassment which it is. There is a campaign in some schools to make teenagers aware of how they can be exploited with sexual photos and for girls especially not to feel pressurised into sending explicit pictures and for it not to be seen as the norm

Bluebelljumpsoverthemoon · 27/07/2014 12:46

They send them for the same reason that women put up pictures flashing their bits, they get turned on by the thought of other people looking and possibly getting turned on. They're looking for titillation not romance.

WorraLiberty · 27/07/2014 12:47

Just send them a cock pic and say, "My one's bigger" Grin

GodDamnBatman · 27/07/2014 12:50

Here is a flow chart of when it is appropriate to send a dick pic.
