And wonder why lots of men appear to think it is.

I've been sent 4 photos of cocks in the last 4 days obviously I have given no invitation and haven't asked or suggested people send me pictures like this. And it has been pretty much within the first 2/3 texts after handing over my number intending to arrange a date.

Is this some new practise I'm unaware of?

Dick Pic Flow chart The image came out too small to read. Grin

BetweenDogandWolf · 27/07/2014 13:00

I have a male friend who asked my advice after his neighbour showed him a topless photo of herself. I thought she sounded a bit strange but he was very interested in her. I advised to ask her out but no, he sent her a photo of his cock! Shock Shock Shock Shock They are now seeing each other! Shock Shock Shock Shock This seems totally bizarre to me.

NeedsAsockamnesty · 27/07/2014 13:01

I have never known or met a woman who would openly admit attempting to initiate contact with a man by sending a unsolicited picture of the contents of her knickers if she did not obtain that mans details via some sort of NSA sex contact site nor have any of the men I know ever spoken about it being an issue or a 'thing'.

I know shit loads of women who have had this happen, one of my friends had 37 cock pictures in a week after making it known (in a none rude way) that she was single!

CTRL AND + a few times to enlarge the flow chart and you should be able to read it.

Aeroflotgirl · 27/07/2014 13:15

nASA that is shocking, 37 cock pictures! I would have forwarded them all an e mail, sorry I'm not a doctor!

postcardofagoldenretriever · 27/07/2014 13:17

It's definitely a thing, friends who do Internet dating tell me it happens all the time.

There's a theory about the popularity of Nigerian scam emails, that they are so utterly obvious as scams not because the senders are stupid but because they don't want to waste their time with anyone who isn't at the extreme of gullibility. So they are worded in such a way as to make it bloody obvious that they're a scam because of the tiny percentage of people that fall for it, those are likely to go "all the way" and end up sending the frauds terms their bank details.

If you think of the cock pics in this way as a calculated strategy it makes more sense. These guys are telling you they are shallow disrespectful shits who have zero sense of social appropriateness and want only to have sex and then treat you badly. From their perspective they send a lot of cock pics, but they don't need to waste their time dealing with any actual inconvenient women who want any kind of relationship, as those are put off instantly. They are likely to get a slim to no response from the cock pic, but the few that do respond are likely to go "all the way"....(though they may be rather less lucky than the Nigerian scam fraudsters Grin)

I just love the replies...

"What's that? It looks like a cock only smaller..."

and

"Never mind, it's personality that counts"

Grin Grin

HerBigChance · 27/07/2014 13:38

Postcard that sounds an excellent theory to me.

borisgudanov · 27/07/2014 13:45

Why the hell isn't this behaviour a serious offence? Try complaining to the plod.

Smilesandpiles · 27/07/2014 13:47

It must come under Sexual Harassment surely?

Unwarrented
Unprovoked
Unwanted
Inappropriate
Antisocial?

Smilesandpiles · 27/07/2014 13:49

I wonder if there is a website, where you can google the number to see if that person has done that before?

Like a shaming site? No pictures of it obviously, just the number and the first name.

rosenylund · 27/07/2014 13:56

I got one, didn't have my glasses on as it was in the middle of the night. I thought it was a carrot on a sheepskin rug and was very confused.

KneesoftheBee · 27/07/2014 13:58

Create a rogue's gallery and forward to Crimewatch.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 27/07/2014 14:01

Postcard is spot on I think.

SevenZarkSeven · 27/07/2014 14:24

They send pictures of them FLACCID?

What?

I mean, erect ones. Not great to receive unsolicited from strangers (it's a flashing thing isn't it? poster upthread was correct I think) but you can understand what the motivation might be.

But why on earth would anyone send a picture of a flaccid penis?

Flummoxed.

gellicleCat · 27/07/2014 14:28

it's definately shorthand for 'I want a bonk'.
another on is flying little red an white flags on their cars , which means 'interesting conversationalist driving this car'

GoshAnneGorilla · 27/07/2014 14:44

I would agree with Postcard's theory

Still baffled though. Would agree that it's sexual harassment too.

NeedsAsockamnesty · 27/07/2014 14:44

The friend who got 37 (weirdly she also got 2 of men with their tops off posing) was horrified and yes it was 37 different ones.

OP posts:
SevenZarkSeven · 27/07/2014 14:46

Were they flaccid needsasockamnesty?

I am absolutely boggled by that. What use is a flaccid penis in the context of sex?

SevenZarkSeven · 27/07/2014 14:47

I mean I can understand on a hook-up site sending a picture of an impressive hard-on.

But flaccid penii? WHY?

NeedsAsockamnesty · 27/07/2014 14:53

Most flaccid a few erect one immortalised in video during a wank (oddly with a pillow on the floor under it and blue roll covering the pillow WTF was that about?)

OP posts:
Diorella · 27/07/2014 16:45

that'd be funnyy worraliberty, to send back to them all the cock photos received in teh past. for their comparison purposes! Enjoy.:-|

stagsden · 27/07/2014 16:56

Similar to what tether said but isnt there a site for teenagers with picture to send in response to those kind of things - like a picture of tits (of the feathered animal variety), with a caption, and a pussy (cat), with a caption. Couldnt you just send those back.

GoshAnneGorilla · 27/07/2014 17:07

Blue roll covering the pillow? As in the blue paper towel stuff?

People don't have that sort of paper at home, do they? You tend to see it in hospitals or clinics. Confused

ClashCityRocker · 27/07/2014 17:17

Oh crap.

I just set my slightly prudish mother an online dating account yesterday.

She's going to be traumatised isn't she?

Seriously, I really don't understand why people do this. They're not the most attractive body part really, sort of the last turkey in the shop on Christmas Eve type look?
