Apologies for the daily mail link and apologies if its already been done, I did have a quick look and couldn't see anything.

An old work friend posted the video of this on Facebook last night and it is horrendous... (And this absolutely doesn't excuse it) but she thought she was doing it for a holiday, but it turned out to be for a drink.

I feel so sorry for her parents (and for her actually)..

I think the rep who organised this 'game' should face prosecution...

wow that is grim
why would anyone do that, even for a holiday.
hope she does not get named.

Yes, poor girl. She had apparently been drinking for hours before this, she was duped into doing this for a big prize that didn't exist, and now the whole world is watching it online.

People get drunk, it's not a free pass to exploit them or humiliate them.

BarbarianMum · 04/07/2014 12:50

poor girl to think this is normal behaviour

curiousgeorgie · 04/07/2014 12:50

But being told its for a holiday and then finding out its for a 3 euro drink.. That just takes it to a much more disturbing level I think.

She's only 18 apparently.

Lots of kids that age still discovering their limits with alcohol and not expecting people to take advantage of them so badly.

RiverTam · 04/07/2014 12:52

I agree that the rep from the company should have some questions to answer, she (sorry, haven't read, was the rep female? Or he) defrauded a very drunk woman, totally designed to mislead with the participant clearly in no state to realise the deliberate confusion.

'People get drunk, it's not a free pass to exploit them or humiliate them.'

^^ this, with bells on.

what RiverTam said.

God, this is awful. And now apparently the girl has been named on twitter and the footage sent to her family.

there are some sick fucks out there.

Theenormouscrocodile · 04/07/2014 12:56

This kind of thing makes me feel utterly sick. I worry for our sons & daughters. I hope to hell my children never participate in this kind of behaviour & have enough respect for themselves and each other that they wouldn't.

Mintyy · 04/07/2014 12:57

NickNacks
What would you prosecute them for?

Well, I'm not an expert on the law in Spain but I think indulging in sexual activity in public is illegal isn't it? Perhaps nightclubs get special dispensation but I'd be surprised if this is the case other than for paid performers.

The whole episode is utterly shameful and I just wish everyone involved (from the people filming downwards) could be prosecuted.

Po faced and proud on this issue.

BarbarianMum · 04/07/2014 12:58

And how kind of the Daily Mail to make sure as many people know about this as possible. Hmm

Mintyy · 04/07/2014 12:59

Why did you watch the video curiousgeorgie? Can't you see how hypocritical that makes you? You knew the content - girl gives a load of men a blow job in public - but you still needed to see it?

CornChips · 04/07/2014 13:00

I just hope this poor poor girl is being protected somehow. She has apparently been named. She has been deliberately humiliated. I just hope she is safe.

BoldBlackCherry · 04/07/2014 13:01

She obviously has no self respect but the men don't either. They are being called legends and heroes. It's awful.

Imagine it was the other way about, a guy performed oral sex on 24 women for a drink, do you think the papers (especially the mail) would be interested in shaming they guy? No of course they wouldn't, they would go after the 24 women who allowed themselves to be filmed taking part and they would still be all the names under the sun.

curiousgeorgie · 04/07/2014 13:02

Mintyy - I didn't click on it, there's a new think with Facebook where the video plays on the wall even as you scroll past it... In the few seconds it took to read the comment at the top it was played. Pretty hard to miss a huge video box on your feed...

OP posts:
curiousgeorgie · 04/07/2014 13:04

And I didn't know what it was, I hadn't heard of or seen it before then... I thought it might even be fake or old or something until it was in the news today. But thanks for the judgment Hmm

mercifulgibbon · 04/07/2014 13:06

Not as far as I know, world. Those people are probably the kind who are saying how the men are legends etc. It's so skewed.

5Foot5 · 04/07/2014 13:07

Her state was probably her own fault, getting so drunk isn't really the best choice, but a whole bar full of people and not one of them thought it wasn't a good idea? Where were her friends?

^^This

ziggiestardust · 04/07/2014 13:08

It's being investigated by the Mayor I think now. Rightly so, God knows
what state she was in. She may have been in control, but the reps who did this are scumbags.

CornChips · 04/07/2014 13:10

I think it is irrelevant if she got herself so drunk. Her drinks might have been spiked. She and her friends might have been steadily drinking all day and it caught up with her. Regardless - it is NOT RIGHT to treat a person that way.

It is also not right for the media to go about trying to find out her name- even bloody reporting it is not right. By publicising it at all they are putting her at risk.

ziggiestardust · 04/07/2014 13:11

No! She should be able to get drunk and not have some leering scummy rep take advantage of her!

That's an extension of the argument that if a girl is drunk when she is raped, she should bear some of the blame.

EElisavetaofBelsornia · 04/07/2014 13:13

Some of these comments are across the line of victim blaming. I'm not going to watch it but if it's right that she was so drunk she was stumbling I question if she was able to consent. A group of men doing sex acts on a woman unable to consent is rape, not being "slaggy" - woman hating term of itself.

There is no positive reason for anyone to share her humiliation further. Why be 'friends' with anyone who has posted this?
