For me, it's watching washing on the line. DH thinks i'm a loon.

There's just something about watching clean washing blowing in the breeze that fills me with a sense of general wellbeing. If i'm stressed or grumpy, it instantly makes me feel better. I don't know why.

What is it for you?

JudysPriest · 21/06/2014 10:46

Going to the gym.

Great thread!

Washing, mine wellbeing is at the other end of the spectrum, a pile of ironing, especially when DP has done it (it has been known!).

And freshly planted up pots on the patio, with the lovely dark soil and new plants there just waiting to flower, before they get a bit dried up later on in the summer.

Laquitar · 21/06/2014 10:53

TulipOHare · 21/06/2014 11:22

Curling up on the sofa after a long hot bath, scrubbed and buffed and moisturised all over, in clean pyjamas. It feels so comforting and nice.

Smilesandpiles · 21/06/2014 11:23

A really good breakfast.

LucilleBluth · 21/06/2014 11:25

I hate to say it but exercise. I dread doing it but feel so much better for the rest of the day for doing it.

wordsmithsforever · 21/06/2014 11:25

Another inhaler of children here - my own obviously - sniffing other people's children would be truly weird! Grin

Breakfast with the radio on, sun streaming through the window.
The washing machine being on.
Clean white sheets.
Driving with music on.
The beach.
Swimming.

IAmTheGodOfTitsAndWine · 21/06/2014 11:43

Lying on freshly cut grass (the lawn part, not the clippings!) on a sunny day, when the grass is perfectly dry and warm and just breathing in and feeling the warmth of the sun.

Fresh, clean, crisp white cotton bedding.

Having a cuddle with my cat.

Having a sneaky cuddle with DS's bear when he's at nursery.

Stroking DS's nose/arm/back/forehead when he asks me to help him get to sleep. Nobody else will do.

vicmackie · 21/06/2014 11:43

Getting home after a run. I have to really argue and bargain and bully myself into going, but I don't know why because I never regret it. A clean house does it too, and fresh bed linen.

PassTheCakeitsbeenatough1 · 21/06/2014 11:46

Clean, tidy house.

ComposHat · 21/06/2014 11:48

A good swim.

Really good poached eggs.

Watching my children being wonderful.

Helping.

MehsMum · 21/06/2014 12:06

Watching the dog have a really good galloping run.
Line of washing bobbing in the breeze (so good to know I am not alone - I even took a photo of baby washing once!)
Seeding grass making waves in the wind (ditto field of barley)
Happy moments with my children (it used to be breathing them in, but they're getting a bit big for that now - they smell too much of school etc)
Having a paddle on a warm day.
The sun shining.
I could go on. I am easily pleased.

Sicaq · 21/06/2014 12:10

Morning shower, pot of coffee, tropical fruit.

The healthy tiredness you feel after a productive day/week

Dozing in front of late night TV on Friday night

Thenapoleonofcrime · 21/06/2014 12:11

Lovely sunny weather- I have loved the past week, so happy everyday and the children are too.
