Every time a UKIP person speaks, they want to say rape within marriage is ok, Lenny Henry should go back to Black Land, bit too scared to stand in a by election just now...yet

PEOPLE ARE STILL DESPERATE TO VOTE FOR THEM.

What hope is there? Humanity is as truly doomed as ever.

Dawn, are you on drugs?

I don't even think the BNP would want be seen as to be so openly racist as you imply, let alone UKIP.

"LibDems told to expect to lose all MEPs in Euro elections 'bloodbath'

Senior Liberal Democrats have privately been warned that the party could be left with no MEPs after next month’s European Parliament elections, The Daily Telegraph can disclose"

...

"One insider told The Daily Telegraph “it is looking like an absolute bloodbath”.

Party sources are warning of a “cratering” of support across the country, with the vote in the East Midlands, for example, forecast to fall from 130,000 to 13,000.

The informal forecasts echo polling which consistently puts the LibDems in a distant fourth behind the UK Independence Party, Labour and the Conservatives."

It is going to be a wipeout and the people won't be voting for Labour to do it, they will be voting for those so-called awful "fruitcakes", who are now Britain's most popular party and have Britain's most popular leader.

After the spinners have suffered a trouncing, they may start calling the voters "racists" and "stupid" for not appreciating all the good hard work done by them on the voters' behalf.

dawndonnaagain · 03/05/2014 17:41

Oh good grief. Two new people throwing about petty accusations of being stupid and on drugs. FFS Are UKIP employing the pair of you.

claig · 03/05/2014 17:46

These establishment politicians have underestimated and insulted and some have even swindled the public for years, and now the public will have its say.

In just 2 short years, there has been a huge seachange in the public's voting intentions. Why is that? The establishment call the public racist, did they all turn racist overnight, or is it that the public have had enough of these spinners and want them kicked out?

Hysteriabeckons · 03/05/2014 17:52

I was mindin' me own business shoppin' in me pyjamas when suddenly Nigel Farage 'it me with a UKIP banner and racially abused me and shouted that all blacks must go home, innit. It's true that UKIP is a bunch of racist bastids.

BuzzardBird · 03/05/2014 17:54

'bongo bongo land'

Gavel

gordyslovesheep · 03/05/2014 18:12

www.newstatesman.com/politics/2013/02/ukip-party-bigots-lets-look-evidence

'Ukip is part of the group Europe of Freedom and Democracy (EFD). The group includes representatives of the Danish People’s Party, the True Finns Party, the Dutch SGP and the infamous Italian Lega Nord – all of them far-right. Nigel Farage is co-President of the group along with Lega Nord’s Francesco Speroni, who described multiple murderer Anders Breivik as someone whose “ideas are in defence of western civilisation."'

BuzzardBird · 03/05/2014 18:14

Don't get me wrong Hysteria I wouldn't vote for that bunch of twats if someone held a gun against my head.

dawndonnaagain · 03/05/2014 18:30

racist accusations

thornrose · 03/05/2014 18:35

I was mindin' me own business shoppin' in me pyjamas when suddenly Nigel Farage 'it me with a UKIP banner and racially abused me and shouted that all blacks must go home, innit. It's true that UKIP is a bunch of racist bastids.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make with that post, please enlighten me.

I too find that story very dubious. A girl was leaving college and just happened to run into a group of people carrying UKIP placards? And they racially abused her? It sounds very unlikely to me

If you look at my MN history I am just a normal person engaging in threads that interest me and going about my business. I have NO reason to make up stories, no hidden agenda. I'm reporting facts.

I understand why you want to discredit my ^story* though.

Hysteriabeckons · 03/05/2014 18:39

The new statesman is well known to be a 'little' biased to the left. Its almost like someone quoting immigration 'facts' from the BNP.

And Bongo Bongo land, where is it exactly? A bongo is either an antelope or a drum originating from Cuba. And more importantly it was a comment from an individual rather than a UKIP policy.

dawndonnaagain · 03/05/2014 18:40

Evening Standard

Daily Mail

The Guardian

dawndonnaagain · 03/05/2014 18:41

I knew the comment from an individual would come up.
It's not the party, just the people working for the party! Hmm
That would be the folk, who if elected, would be making party policy then.

LeftyLoony · 03/05/2014 18:44

Don't forget the eugenics. Compulsory termination fir disability detected in utero.

LeftyLoony · 03/05/2014 18:46

Oh I've just RTFT.

Hysteriabeckons · 03/05/2014 18:50

Dawn, yes they're allegations, and an allegation is an accusation which is either true or false. A handful of UKIP members have made questionable remarks, and like it says in that story that questionable remarks made by other political parties members are being ignored. Why?

Because it's now popular to jump on the UKIP hating bandwagon by bigots. Lib Lab and Con are loving it because all attention is being focused elsewhere.

dawndonnaagain · 03/05/2014 18:59

Ahh, so you are employed by UKIP?

I really don't understand why people come onto what is essentially a parenting site, to have a go at others.

Oh, and we don't like your speshial comment, either, it has been reported.

thornrose · 03/05/2014 19:10

I was mindin' me own business shoppin' in me pyjamas when suddenly Nigel Farage 'it me with a UKIP banner and racially abused me and shouted that all blacks must go home, innit. It's true that UKIP is a bunch of racist bastids.

I have no idea what point you are trying to make with that post, please enlighten me. you didn't reply Hysteria!

Now I also have another question for you, what do you mean by speshial?

gordyslovesheep · 03/05/2014 19:19

so you are just going to ignore or deny their actual factual links with far right parties in Europe and the views of the parties they align themselves with?

BuzzardBird · 03/05/2014 19:43

I think Hysteria thinks he is on NM. Easy mistake to make for a UKIP supporter.

BoulevardOfBrokenSleep · 03/05/2014 20:40

What's interesting (to digress slightly), is the way the candidates/donors who have made racist/sexist etc etc remarks... haven't made any attempt to hide it, IYSWIM?

It's not like they were unexpectedly taped having a drunken racist rant (a la Galliano or Mel Gibson); they actually thought, What shall I write on Twitter today? Shall I share my thoughts on the latest game of thrones? No - homophobic and racist rambling seems a much better idea.

It's almost like they only hang around with people where these views are the norm, and not seen as anything unusual or unpalatable. Hmm

BuzzardBird · 03/05/2014 20:45

I am assuming all their speeches have to be 'approved' also. Or am I naive?

dawndonnaagain · 03/05/2014 21:05

Looking at Hysteria's earlier links is hysterical. Cat Bursnell, former mayor of Windsor, she and her dh think the unemployed shouldn't be allowed to vote.
Winston McKenzie, who has been a member of every political party and who has also stood as an independent on occasion.
