to be uncomfortable with a naked incontinent toddler?

We visited family yesterday. Their two yo dd stripped off after dinner, pooed on the floor and then ran around naked for the rest of the afternoon.

Their house, their rules and I would never have said anything but we are contemplating not visiting for a while.

They made no attempt to dress her and found it hilarious. My 11yo ds1 was mortified, I was more worried about the hygiene factor.

Aibu and a prude? I'm generally very laid back but felt really uncomfortable. I'd be fine with naked kids in the paddling pool in the garden, for eg, or just out of the bath for a run around, but stripping off after dinner, shutting under the table and then spending the afternoon flollopping about naked with no attempt to dress her or even put pants on her made me feel a bit queasy.

Is it me?

Pooing on the floor is grim, more so in company. If DD did that, I'd be mortified, apologise to guests, clean up DD and poo and put pants on her at least. Did they not even clean her up? DD is 4yo and we didn't have any poo on the floor incidents while she was potty training. I was always putting her on the potty or the toilet though.

DD loves running around after a bath, posing in the mirror on the landing and shouting "I'm naked, I'm naked" She doesn't do this when we stay at other people's houses and she has a bath. It isn't appropriate. In fact unless it was a random set of crazy circumstances then I probably wouldn't let DD run around naked in company other than just our family unit. If there was some sort of pool party, I'd probably keep her pants on and either borrow some to take her home in or just put her bottoms back on sans pants. DD is very fair so she's usually covered up anyway in the sun.

Actually if I had a teen who was clearly embarrassed about what happened then I probably would avoid the situation for a few months until the toddler had moved onto other things.

Thread hijack - I had a 17 year old Russian girl staying to study English last summer. My neighbour came round to deliver her puppy (I groom dogs) and had her two year old with her. She was naked (I discovered) underneath her pink mac and wellies. I didn't pay much attention, til we realised that she'd climbed onto the dining table, to sit open legged in front of the poor student who was trying to eat soup!

I'd have put a there instead of a trash it wasn't funny just like the ops case.
