To let myself into upstairs flat?

MrsDrRanj · 20/02/2014 12:26

I live in a house converted into flats. I don't know the lady upstairs that well but well enough to have conversations with if we bump into eachother.

The door to her flat is right opposite my door. For the last 2 days I haven't heard her come in or go out, and her keys have been in her door. WIBU to go up and check nobody's dead in there?! Or is that overstepping boundaries?

Where is op? Who are we going to send to investigate next?

Joysmum · 21/02/2014 09:16

Hope things turned out to be ok?

Turnipinatutu · 21/02/2014 09:27

Still no reply?!

MalcolmTuckersMistress · 21/02/2014 09:34

Where are you OP?

Tortoise · 21/02/2014 09:36

Hope everything is ok.

Dawndonnaagain · 21/02/2014 09:39

Hope all is well.

TheProsAndConsOfHitchhiking · 21/02/2014 09:51

no update yet op?

littlewhitebag · 21/02/2014 09:51

I have a really bad feeling about this one.

Marzipanface · 21/02/2014 09:56

Worra give it a rest. The OP probably wasn't sure what to do. I would be reluctant to take someone's keys.

thegreylady · 21/02/2014 10:20

I think it is perfectly possible that the lady has gone away, locked her door and forgotten to take her keys. I think it is worth the op checking but if the other tenent is out just lock the door, take the keys and leave a note on the door. I wish there was an update though.

thegreylady · 21/02/2014 10:20

Tenant obviously!

FoxesRevenge · 21/02/2014 10:22

I'm with worra, you just don't leave keys in the door, especially if you know the person is elderly.

PikaAchooo · 21/02/2014 10:24

Admittedly I did think the same as Worra.

oldwomaninashoe · 21/02/2014 13:58

Any news OP?

WitchWay · 21/02/2014 14:01

I'd've knocked & gone in, calling loudly, but then I have the sort of job where I knock & go into people's houses without waiting to be let in. Hoping for an update soon...

FourAndDone · 21/02/2014 14:07

Wow placemarking! Hope op and the neighbour are ok!!

SomewhatSilly · 21/02/2014 14:15

No news Confused?

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 21/02/2014 14:18

Hmm, attention seeking?

LeaveItItsNotWorthIt · 21/02/2014 14:48

The suspense is killing me! I have to know everything is ok!

WaitMonkey · 21/02/2014 14:49

Still no update... Hmm

Pipbin · 21/02/2014 16:23

That's it. She's gone in to the flat and followed the elderly neighbour through the back of the wardrobe and into Narnia.
Her boyfriend will come home and see this post on her computer and go off to the flat to investigate....... Will he go through the wardrobe to Narnia too?

Lozcat86 · 21/02/2014 16:28

Still nothing?!

TheListingAttic · 21/02/2014 16:28

Pipbin Grin

FoxesRevenge · 21/02/2014 16:29

I know what it is.....there's a sink hole in the flat!
