AIBU to be furious with my DH coming home from a night out at 4.20am? I am 40 years old, have two small children (4 and 2) and am 35 weeks pregnant. I find it difficult to sleep now anyway but impossible to sleep when he is out as I know what will happen.

So tmw will be full of arguments and he will try and find himself time to recover from night out.

This isn't te first time it has happened

I don't think you understand what the word "selfish" means.

"Well if the OP is going about on a constant whirlwind of nature walks, activities etc"

She said she liked to do things with her children at the weekend.

Like many parents do.

The persistent fault finding that you (and others) are doing of every little thing she has said is extremely unedifying.

It's her fault her husband goes out all night.
It's her fault he's rude to her the next day.
It's her fault he's inconsiderate and doesn't realise she might need an occasional break.

Does sticking the boot into other women who are having a hard time give you a nice buzzy feeling in your nether regions?

I don't believe anybody has said that it is the OPs fault that her husband goes out all night. I think what some posters have said is that her husband should be able to go out without being made to feel guilty as long as he isnt going out until that late on an unreasonably regular basis. I wouldn't say anybody is at fault because the word 'fault' suggests that something dire has occurred and I don't think anything dire has occurred.

Nobody has said that the OP is at fault for her husband being rude the next day. If I have missed that being said then please point out the post for me.

And some people have pointed out that perhaps the OP needs to be more outspoken about wanting time to herself (if she wants that). Nothing wrong with suggesting that people need to speak up for themselves. If her husband doesn't know that she wants to go out then she should tell him. If he refuses to take over care of the children for a day whilst the OP spends some time as she pleases then he is a selfish git and the OP has every right to be peeved.
