To think there was no need for a hairdresser and such to be ordered for Kate when she left the hospital yesterday.

First off: I know they are royals and are in the public eye a lot. But was there really a need for her to be sent a hairdresser so she'd look her absolute best when she left the hospital? I mean how many pregnant woman look pretty much perfect when they leave and actually care when they've just given birth 24 hours ago.

I think she's naturally pretty anyway so would have looked fine make up free with her hair tied up. I'm wondering if she requested it or if it was ordered she was to look her shining best to leave?

So, we have knocked her dress, the fact she had a hairdresser style her hair before facing 100's the worlds media (if you cannot do it then when IS the right occasion!!). And now William not putting the car seat in properly (if indeed that is correct).

No wonder they need security. We are want to find something- anything to spot they have done wrong. On another thread someone is moaning about the cost of security for them. With this sort of interest no wonder they need it.

Can you imagine if they were found walking in your local park. They would literally be swamped hence the need for security.

And the Royals (whether you agree with Royalty or not!) bring in vast sums to visitors who are interested in our long history.

I think the Queen has done a fab job and is still doing at her age. Put her against some lazy sod who hasnt worked a days in their life and there is no comparsion...

I would certainly have my hair and make up done if I knew my picture was going to be broadcast across the world (and repeatedly brought up as archive footage - see all the recent pictures of other royal babies), and I'd extra specially have my hair and make up done if I had given birth in the last 24 hours.

FFS read the words. The straps weren't put on the baby properly. The seat was attached to the car correctly.

OP - I put on my make up and did my hair before my Mum and MIL visited for the first time after having my son. What's the difference?

Car seat - none of us have any idea whether they noticed the straps not being done properly, pulled over 20 metres down the road and redid them. Or whether Kate did them whilst she was sat next to the baby.

SirChenjin (took me forever to figure out your name!) There was a thread on here in regards to William saying something like 'We've only just met him' in regards to the baby. There was a load of speculation about whether he'd just messed up what he'd said or whether the baby was elsewhere for the 4 hours

Crikey - people do speculate about the weirdest things, don't they?
