YANBU. It's really depressing, they as a group come across so badly. I blame the production team who clearly wanted eye candy for the men rather than interesting personalities. They are more like Big Brother contestants than anything. That blonde one with the very still weird face that couldn't add up in the brewing task - seriously, wtf?

I think you are being judgemental to say women who take care of themselves, use make up, hair and nail extensions are symptomatic of the sex industry.

As I man, I can only assume they were chosen for their ability to pitch themselves well in the initial interviews. There's no way they were selected based on their looks.

It makes me laugh when they are running round everywhere in massive heels! I love my heels and I'd wear them for the presentation bits and the boardroom, but if I'm pounding the streets of London trying to sell ukeleles I'd def be in flats. Bet there's loads of outtakes of then falling over!

On a serious note i agree with holly. You can take care of yourself and still be a serious business person, it's not one or the other.

Admittedly I am 26, with long hair and a considerable makeup collection. Perhaps that's it!

Literally 30 seconds before I saw this thread title DD and I were discussing whether it was possible to look more fake and wear more make-up than some of these young women.

DD was watching one episode recently where they were all screeching over each other in a "LISTEN TO ME, I'M MORE IMPORTANT BECAUSE I'M SHOUTING LOUDEST SO I GET THE MOST SCREEN TIME" sort of way.
