I liked Jaz and I like Rebecca, Francesca and Leah!!! The comedian on The Apprentice, You're Fired on the first week said that some of the contestants have come straight from the make-up room on Take Me Out!!! That made me laugh

They look like they've been scraped a a (dirty) night club dance floor at 2am.
Maybe they used their big business brains to negotiate a multi-buy deal at the hair extensions shop.

I was saying to someone they look really glam this year compared to how they looked in the first couple of years of the apprentice where they seemed to wear very dull work wear.

I also think Karen Brady looks lovely, like Kelly brooks older and wiser sister. Uzma looks like if Helen ledderer and Rita ora had a child.

It wasn't like this in Ruth Badger's day !

Have they all got botox and lip fillers as well as the massively-overdone eye make-up? The girls look REALLY weird this year. Strikingly so. No one looks like that in my office.

The boys look a bit odd too, with the not-sure-if-it's-a-beard-or-not thing going on for several of them. And eyebrow man.

Surely looking professional is the minimum requirement? And I'm very much one for minimum effort when it comes to appearance!

Its makes for some interesting talking points when watching it with 13 yo DD.

Thankfully she can see that wearing high heels when you're running around a DIY store is not the cleverest of moves. She's also decided that the ones wearing too much make-up look like drag queens and that some of them (sorry don't know names as I've only seen bits of it) are too bossy and forceful, not allowing others to make their point.

It's the first thing I noticed.

There are all thin wearing tight fitting dresses and so much slap.

I wanted to drag a comb through their hair last nigt, after washing it first.

Also why the silly blue contact lenses, they look ridiculous.

Have to say I also think the guy with hair all over his neck looks totally scruffy and a right twat.

Oh I loved the badger! I do think there is a big difference between looking after yourself and this lot. Look at Karen she manages to look beautiful, feminine and professional. They don't really promote business women well IMO.

Agreed and on a vaguely related note. You know the bit where someone rings up and the person who answers the phone flaps their arms around like a helicopter, hugely surprised that on the show called The Apprentice they are being ringed up to do a task.

Anyways you know that bit, and then they go Lord Sugar will meet us in 30 minutes at the Industrial village, cut to slightly pervy shots of everyone in their pjs/short nighties.

Then 30 minutes later the girls and even the boys appear with hair coiffed and the girls have their make up trowelled on. There is no way they have done that in anything less than an hour. Grr, annoys me.

Agree though - loving Karen Brady, although there is always a special place for Margaret in my heart.

I'm itching to give most of them a haircut or at least a hair bobble, what's with all the cascading tresses, they look so messy. And I'm mesmerised by Uzma's look, the blonde hair, blue tinted lenses, pale makeup, it just looks so startling. She'd look much better if she went with her natural looks.

The Welsh eyebrow man looks like Frank Sidebottom.

Was one of the first things noticed OP! Surely if they had anything about them they would take one look at Karen, who I appreciate is quite a bit older than them, and see that that is not how they are expected to dress - especially if they want to be taken seriously. I'm not suggesting they mirror Karen but the difference is vast!!!!

If someone came to pitch to me looking like,they've just come in from the night before (skyscraper heels, tight n bright dresses, loads of cleavage and tons of slap) I wouldn't feel that they were being serious. Then again, I worked in the City where it was suit central. There is one with a hugely irritating voice.

Miss Can't be Wrong is a bit odd looking. She seems to have been coloured in by a five year old with sharpies. Nothing seems to be quite the right hue (and she's supposed to be a cosmetics entrepreneur or some such).
