....a bit porn star-y? Masses of fake hair, nails, loads of make up, lip gloss. Yikes! I don't know any senior women at work who look remotely like that.

Oh, and Karen Brady has upgraded her hair stylist this season, no?

I saw that, LaQueen! How weird. She was probably the best of the bunch- certainly a refreshing change from the business barbies. Will you get back in touch with her? I'm sure she'd welcome it.

I don't think women in any serious profession present like this, physically or in terms of their conduct. but the men are similarly poorly presented. I also have to despair at the British education system if these are typical products of it. Jaz, mind like a steel trap? Seriously? Yours must have been a very undemanding school!

But it is a TV show.
If it stayed the same year after year, I presume ratings would drop.

I think that Shugger tried to make it more serious last year, and it bombed, so now they have gone in a more overt direction of Big Brother Does Business. It's a telly show primarily, and it needs ratings.

They've all got at least half an eye on the post-show celeb circuit that they know can be theirs for the taking, that's the problem. They know the chance is they won't win, so are the kind of people who want to milk the TV appearance for all that it's worth - it's inevitable as the format ages and people realise what an appearance on reality TV can do.

No actual serious business person would appear on the show, surely!

She kept the sharp mind well hidden during her TV appearance!

Nobody compares to Saira from series one. She was brilliant I think.

I don't care what they look like, most of them come across as thick as pigshit, I can't imagine any of them doing well in business. Unless they work for some low rent recruitment consultancy.

I like Miss Hardbroom.

I also liked Jaz but someone got it right in the first thread in that she behaved in a very cliched teacher like manner, she shouldn't have gone in the first round though,

I agree, we've been talking about it in work.
None of them would be taken seriously in an actual office. Inappropriate clothing for an actual boardroom.
Skirts too short and makeup for a night out.

Tripping around homebase in heels like that on a deadline? Seriously?

The girl who went out this week (don't know her name) was fired because she was a bit quiet, not good for good tv ratings. Programme is getting to be a bit disappointing.

And the automatonesque Miriam who turned out to be AMAZING at selling on the shopping channel

Can't remember that other bloke's name...

Tim was great, and James who had to flog the wolf fleeces on QVC, Raef and The Badger.

My favourite 'worst' contestant was Stuart who told Clinton's cards that if they didn't buy his Green greetings cards it was the same as George W Bush saying he didn't give a fuck about the enivronment.....or something.

Miriam was brilliant wasn't she.

Paul! Grin

The boardroom bits in the earlier series always seemed more tense yet professional...

It's all a load of old bolsh or bitching now, eh? Disappointing
