I've been reading the recent bra threads and love it when people are shocked to discover they are actually a 32F and not a 40A.

So, if you have recently had a bra intervention by Sorrel, SC and others, can you answer the following please:

What size were you wearing?
Who fitted you? (Name and shame please)
What size are you now?

Flump try 28DD and E.

StatisticallyChallenged · 28/02/2013 22:10

Lookout the websites I have mentioned all accept returns no problem.

CelticPromise · 28/02/2013 22:12

Fascinating I'd start at 36GG. brastop.com is good for bargain bras.

AnyFucker · 28/02/2013 22:12

The way I understand the reason for measuring with boobs hanging down is this is what them to do in a bra, isn't it ?

You want them to stand proud of your chest, not flat against your ribcage (for us floppier-boobed women)

you wouldn't buy a bra that held them flattened down, you want them lifted away from your chest

AnyFucker · 28/02/2013 22:12

this is what you want them to do in a bra

CelticPromise · 28/02/2013 22:14

lookout they pretty much all accept returns. If you order from Debenhams you can return to store. And I'm also passing on Sorrel's tip- there are bra bargains to be had on Amazon which gives free returns.

lookout · 28/02/2013 22:15

Thanks, that's my job for nap time tomorrow then Smile

CelticPromise · 28/02/2013 22:15

What are your magic numbers determined?

I've just ordered a decent bra for £10 something with free delivery from Amazon. They are out there!

eBay worth a look too.

OK, I would suggest trying a 36GG to start, also try a 36G. You may need a 38, in which case try a FF and G, but most people who are between backs get on best with the smaller back size

How about

curvy kate, runs small in cup big in back so try the 36gg
fantasie
panache, £8.84 free delivery and returns
curvy kate

QuickLookBusy · 28/02/2013 22:21

verylittlecarrot · 28/02/2013 22:21

31 inches under
36 around dangly style.

I've worn m&s 36 AA or 36A pre preg and currently have primark 36B.

Iwillorderthefood · 28/02/2013 22:23

Ok will give that a go, thanks.

CelticPromise · 28/02/2013 22:23

Quick 28E or 30DD for starters.

Carrot try 30E. Those 36s can't be doing anything for you!

Wow thread nearly fullShock

WildThong · 28/02/2013 22:23

Have just noticed that brastop have free delivery on just now, and free returns as ever.
Oh no, better get my flexible friend out again!

StatisticallyChallenged · 28/02/2013 22:24

Is that two filled in a week CelticPromise?? Plus a couple of other monsters!

verylittlecarrot · 28/02/2013 22:25

squeeeee!

Does this mean bravissimo won't turn me away with snorts of laughter?

verylittlecarrot · 28/02/2013 22:26

and THANKS!

CelticPromise · 28/02/2013 22:26

That's a lot of better fitting bras! Smile

flumperoo · 28/02/2013 22:27

Really, that's really surprising. I usually wear a 34A. I'm not sure if I'm doing to boob measurement right/if I'm holding it too loose. What if I were 28" & 32"? Is it even possible to buy a 28" on the high street? (sorry, I've not read the whole thread!

InMySpareTime · 28/02/2013 22:28

Bravissimo do plenty of 28s (I got a few today)

CelticPromise · 28/02/2013 22:29

flump that would be a 28D. The cups won't be that different, it's the band. A 34A cup is similar in volume to a 28D.

WildThong · 28/02/2013 22:32

Nearly full, like my cups!

Someone start another one please...
