Katie Hopkins is one vile person. Narcissistic much?

Yeah it's the dreaded DM but...

Me me me me me. I'm sure her nanny's just thrilled to see this splashed all over the Daily Wail. Surely this piece gives her every right to just walk out on her contracvt now anyway? It's what I'd do. Then see how the harridian would manage.
And, 37?? Really??

naturalbaby · 28/06/2012 16:53

I could read no further than the 1st paragraph.
I eagerly await Xenia's take on it.

rookiemater · 28/06/2012 16:56

Oh yes I read that what a choice specimen.

I have some sympathy with women who have to rearrange their childcare for whatever reason, it must be hard to know that your child is bonded and comfortable and then for that to be changed outside your control would I imagine be a difficult transition. However a) she has had 5 years which I think is pretty good and b) all she talks about is the money.

If it was a man writing this I'm not entirely sure they would be able to publlish such misogynist crap but how lovely that there are members of our own sex ready to dish up such rubbish for the readies.

BetterChoicesChair · 28/06/2012 16:56

Truly obnoxious. Knew someone would post about her here!

EXmrsmascarahead · 28/06/2012 16:56

My response on reading the article

'Ah Diddums'. I even did the bottom lip!

Silly bitch (Katie not you OP)

Wheezo · 28/06/2012 16:58

You only get 2 scans on the NHS don't you? So when she says she missed a "few scans" then presumably she either missed them all or at least 50% for each pregnancy? What a strange woman she is.

Also did she get her nanny's permission for this because if she's in the early stages of pregnancy she may not have told everyone she knows (who also know who her employer is) that she's pregnant.

Well the money & publicity she gained from the article will pay for any maternity benefits/recruitment of a new nanny.

Yes, she's repulsive (Katie).

So is the Daily Mail.

waterlego6064 · 28/06/2012 17:04

I couldn't understand the scan thing either. Unless she was supposed to have extra scans, in which case she was being rather irresponsible.

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 28/06/2012 17:04

She's got nothing to do now but churn out this crap about mothers last time I saw her on tv saying babies at the Olympics would ruin her day. It's quite sad really. She is a horrible caricature and I hope they stop publishing her soon because she is boring.

lisaro · 28/06/2012 17:05

hmmmm, wonder if her nanny managed to find a man that wasn't married to someone else.........................

Errr won't the nanny see that?!?

PreciousPuddleduck · 28/06/2012 17:07

What a bitch

WipsGlitter · 28/06/2012 17:09

Agree it's all me, me, me. How on earth is she earning a living?? Crammed diary my arse. Who would want her speaking at any event, she piss people off. And how she says "organise my diary like a man". Bollocks. You're just the same as any other working mum with child are issues and a busy life. But more annoying.

BBisTitanium · 28/06/2012 17:12

Her attitude to both her nanny and her children is vile. Foul disgrace of a woman!

catgirl1976 · 28/06/2012 17:14

Oh dear God. That's one of the worst things I have ever read.

I wonder how she felt when she took her maternity leave and pay. 3 times.

What an asshat she is

amothersplaceisinthewrong · 28/06/2012 17:15

Why on earth did this woman and her husband have three children when neither of them can be bothered to spend any time with them? Are these children a mere extension of their "have it all" lifestyle I would brand them as a very selfish irresponsible couple. Who does she think should foot the bill for looking after the children, if not her/her husband.

ErikNorseman · 28/06/2012 17:16

What a dick.

bonzo77 · 28/06/2012 17:18

2 words. Constructive dismissal.

GhouliaYelps · 28/06/2012 17:21

agghhh she is dreadful!!

ShakeWhatYourMamaGaveYou · 28/06/2012 17:22

Ok I don't agree with everything she's saying -2 weeks maternity leave?! She doesnt seem to give pregnancy the respect it deserves- missing scans, flying when not supposed to etc.
But, I just think she came across as extremely ambitious rather than vile and nasty. She's just saying what virtually every other employer thinks when a valuable and trusted employee leaves to go on maternity leave. It IS expensive and inconvenient.
My boss was slightly grumpy with me when I announced my last pregnancy- I would much rather this than him delightedly shoving me out of the door.

MammaTJ · 28/06/2012 17:22

Quite often I read articles in a paper and think 'Oh, I could be friends with that person'. Not this time!!

MinnieBar · 28/06/2012 17:23

Her nanny must be a saint.

MailOnline practically exists for stories like this though, no?
