Katie Hopkins is one vile person. Narcissistic much?

Yeah it's the dreaded DM but...

Is it against the rules or not the done thing, to out someone, famous or not? Just wondering...

lowfatiscrap12 · 28/06/2012 20:00

fuck me, Motherhood isn't compulsory. Women like that should remain childless, seriously. Why fucking bother?

BorisJohnsonsHair · 28/06/2012 20:04

cahu, I'm sure it's not ... do tell Grin

Krumbum · 28/06/2012 20:05

I think she is horrible, selfish and woman hating. If she or her partner do hate looking after their own kids then why not just send them to nursery, then she won't have to deal with burden of nanny maybe having a baby. It's also laughable when she talks about it being of financial burden to her, all she cares about is making money, they are clearly loaded.

manicbmc · 28/06/2012 20:08

All kids are a financial burden though. I don't think many people would expect to make money by having a baby really.

No idea why she bothered if her and her dp are hardly there. What is the point?

cahu · 28/06/2012 20:09

Boris, nothing exciting, sorry. Just realised, on another thread that Xenia must be Katie Hopkins.....I think it must be old news though....

Check out the body language in that pic of her with her three children! Hands tucked away out of reach so she doesn't touch them.

BonnieBumble · 28/06/2012 20:20

Has anyone ever read any of her tweets?

Does she really run a successful consultancy? Who would hire her?

LynetteScavo · 28/06/2012 20:21

Xenia is not Katie Hopkins, lol.

Xenia is misguided at times, but not despicable.

cahu · 28/06/2012 20:27

Oh, ok, Lynette, sorry Xenia!

Although very similar outlook and views it seems.

Sittinginthesun · 28/06/2012 20:30

Think Xenia has older children. Who are you, Xenia?

DrSeuss · 28/06/2012 20:32

Presumably, the nanny's contract has a confidentiality clause. If the nanny splashed Superbitch's life all over the papers, she would be sued. There was a thread a few months ago about a mother who was outraged that her child's teacher dared to have a baby and take maternity leave. This woman is presumably Superbitch's cousin!

fedupofnamechanging · 28/06/2012 20:42

This woman has no shame. Even knowing a little about KH, I was sympathetic to the viewpoint that it is hard to replace a much loved and much needed nanny and that it will cause disruption that working parents can do without. Then I read about how she lied, so she could fly at 8 months pregnant, didn't bother attending all her scans etc. If she cba to care for her babies while they are growing inside her, then she has no business being a mother. Bad enough that she did those things, but to feel pride in her utter lack of maternal care. Urgh - vile and despicable.

Mrsjay · 28/06/2012 20:43

I saw kate garoway getting annoyed with her i cant even remember what they were talking about now

WhosPickleisThatOnion · 28/06/2012 20:43

I think it's all bullshit. She has a role as the anti mother in the daily mail to live up to after all. Silly old moose.

swearytramp · 28/06/2012 20:51

xenia's some 'writer' bod I believe, but I'm quite sure her n katie do lunch - if they don't they should. About the article though - yukky yukky yuk! I wish the nanny was on here so we could tell her what to say - I reckon we could come up with some corkers Grin

TheWonderfulFanny · 28/06/2012 20:56

"
The rules that surround Statutory Maternity Pay are complicated, but in a nutshell you can work somewhere for as little as a week before your employer becomes liable for paying yours."

Bollocks. Utter bollocks.

Give me strength.

TheWonderfulFanny · 28/06/2012 21:33

Ha ha! Words fail me, but these struck a chord - "Whether Apprentices, or Entrepreneurs, there are a few rules to this game . Use your ears before your mouth. Even if your mouth is twice the size of your exaggerated ego. Never explain why someone is worse, explain why you are better"

Umm, Katy?

Glittertwins · 28/06/2012 21:39

I can't believe it took this long for this to be online but I didn't have the nerve to start a thread earlier!
KH seems to have forgotten that a nanny is a human being with their own life, not a machine. She seems to want a skivvy to pick up after her at all hours of day or even night when she mentions a 4am start - surely the eldest two would be in school where breakfast club/after school club would be in place for standard working patterns so why can't husband take some responsibility (unless he won't because the two eldest aren't his).

Springforward · 28/06/2012 21:50

Vile woman.

worrywortisworrying · 28/06/2012 21:55

I got to 'Hard working mummies' before I burst out laughing.

My son has autism and an IQ of around 200. If anyone would like to have a lovely, easy day off (like I do, patently, as I do not work) perhaps you would like to come and look after him for an hour or so.

An hour is what most people cn cope with before he's driven them to distraction.

Oh, I would SOOO love this woman to actually walk in my shoes. She couldn't though. Not with her perfect children and busy life and all.

Utter cobblers.

getagoldtoof · 28/06/2012 22:04

I went to classes at university when my son was 1 week old, and in to a full time work placement when he was 4 weeks old. I don't recommend it, it was incredibly difficult. However, I left my son with his father and they have a beautiful relationship - I could not hand over my newborn to a stranger.

What I'm saying is, I feel there is merit in discussing how wider family networks can support women who don't have choices (i.e. financial stability - which Katie probably does have!) I am just so sad it is this fuckwit Katie Apprentice-loser who is the face of any challenge to the traditional maternity leave setup. Wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a world where employers looked at men as equally likely to take 6 months paternity leave, thus levelling the field?

pigletmania · 28/06/2012 22:06

Vile, nasty self centred woman. So she is allowed to get pregnant and the nanny isent Hmm. Why ha e kids if you are so detatched and indifferent to them. I detect issues in years to come
