Katie Hopkins is one vile person. Narcissistic much?

Yeah it's the dreaded DM but...

It case anyone has missed this delight on her blog. Can anyone add a number 6 to her list???:

Why We Hate the School Gate
May 30th, 2012

  1. Stay at home mum: wearing tshirt that says ?breast is best? from the mumsnet shop. Has laminated costa coffee card on a lanyard and comfy pants.

  2. Part time mum: as above, but wearing odd shoes, sweating profusely across the upper lip and already late for her three hour public sector job as a manager of something mundane.

  3. Feeder mum: assumes you are vermin simply because you haven?t eaten half your body weight in cadburys for breakfast.

  4. Popular mum: leader of the mums army, and popular figure head of the more extreme mum mafia mobilising mothers with every text.

  5. The Dad mum: the father that shares parenting duties. Terribly right on, knits his own yoghurts and wears hand stitched shoes. Has ?Poly Toynbee Rocks? sweater.

I do wish her well in her quest to find a new nanny; for the sake of the kids. God love them.

ariadne1 · 28/06/2012 22:29

Was I reading a different article to everyone else? She clearly says she is pleased for her nanny but dismayed at the havoc it is going to wreak in her own family's lives.

LoopyLoopsCorgiPoops · 28/06/2012 22:39
  1. She's clearly a mumsnetter
  1. She would lie in order to put her unborn babies in risky situations as her career means more to her than the health of her kids. As someone who has suffered stillbirth, I cannot comprehend that.
  1. Twat.
VegansTasteBetter · 28/06/2012 22:46

Really, you read that as happy for her but upset about getting a new nanny?
The smile was not, I hope, too forced when I heard the news. Rachel, the indispensable nanny to my three children, had just told me she was pregnant and would soon be taking maternity leave.

^?That?s marvellous,? I gushed through gritted teeth last weekend.
While outwardly I tried to share in her delight, inwardly my mind was squealing a handbrake turn down a much more selfish route as I envisaged the turmoil about to be inflicted on my life.^

  1. trendy mummy - works but pretends she really doesn't want to, hugs her 'babies' and looks tearful but really wants to be at her high powered private post asap.
sobloodyexpensive · 28/06/2012 22:51

This is not very nice but can I just add that she is so fucking ugly I can't look at her, she looks like the love child of Andrew Lloyd Webber and a duck.

LoopyLoopsCorgiPoops · 28/06/2012 22:54

Also, under-eye highlighter far too light. A bit scary in fact.

Francagoestohollywood · 28/06/2012 23:00

Horrible woman, horrible article, that actually fails to provide any insightful view in a discussion that could be interesting.

thisisyesterday · 28/06/2012 23:03

what is that orange plate under the sofa?

the cleaner will be in big trouble

nothingoldcanstay · 28/06/2012 23:07

Let's all keep bitching ladies because that's getting us places isn't. She's lost "her" nanny. Notice her husband isn't worried.
I'm not surprised she's upset - think how you would react if the nursery closed and you had to find a new one but pay for the old one and not get a new one properly until the old one definitely wasn't going to re open. But obviously she's upset because she ugly (!)or bossy and opinionated. lucky she blonde though and not "culturally" different or we couldn't all pitch in.

manicbmc · 28/06/2012 23:08

The orange plate had the biscuits on that the photographer bribed the children with - to get them to sit next to this virtual stranger. Grin

thisisyesterday · 28/06/2012 23:11

it looks like my mums tupperware, but she surely wouldn't have tupperware in her house????
which leads me to think that something is afoot....

is her husband Mark the married-man-Mark she shagged in a field?

ShakeWhatYourMamaGaveYou · 28/06/2012 23:12

Look, I agree she comes across badly but I'm quite surprised at the venom on this thread.
Most of the posts here are just nasty, unjustified personal attacks. Especially towards her dc. It's actually making me cringe.

I have seen on threads here where women desperately want to be a sahm but have financial difficulties and are told by mners to stop being so selfish and get back to work!!

fuckityfuckfuckfuck · 28/06/2012 23:12

They are clearly never normally allowed in that room. And have been barked at to keep their shoes off the carpet...The body language is quite sad actually. I know posed pictures can be cringey, but how about uncrossing those witchy hands and actually hugging those children eh?

Francagoestohollywood · 28/06/2012 23:13

And by the way, that carpet is unforgivable, just ugly.

manicbmc · 28/06/2012 23:14

If she wasn't so vocal in her intolerance of other peoples' choices then maybe I would feel more sympathy towards her loss of a nanny. But she's not and so I don't.

Mysaucepansdontmatch · 28/06/2012 23:15

Her kids aren't facially blessed. Bit like her.

takingiteasy · 28/06/2012 23:15

What the fuck does she actually do?

Apart from obsess over mumsnet and be a twat obviously?

Francagoestohollywood · 28/06/2012 23:16

Exactly Nothingoldcanstay. The article is just horribly written, but loosing any form of reliable childcare is an issue for people working full time.

fuckityfuckfuckfuck · 28/06/2012 23:17

Ah no no saucepans. She writes the articles, she's fair game. But not her children. I would hate for someone to say that about my dc. They can't help who their mother is and that she plasters their picture all over the paper.

Mysaucepansdontmatch · 28/06/2012 23:19

I couldn't give a fuckityfuckityfuck.

manicbmc · 28/06/2012 23:20

That is her look out as she sanctioned the photos. Not doing a very good job of protecting her kids really.

Yes, she will lose her nanny but she has a good few months to find a new one. It's not like her nanny has suddenly become pregnant, kept it secret and the birth is imminent.

Glittertwins · 28/06/2012 23:20

I just had a skim through her blog and she does mention orange Tupperware so maybe it does belong to her

takingiteasy · 28/06/2012 23:20

Bit close to the bone saucepan but only because it's true
