I have kept quiet over the last few months not from any wish to be mysterious but because feck all has happened.

Well I say nothing has happened, the neighbours are now living in the bungalow and their house is occupied by a bewildering array of people. They are fairly quiet in the house but do many annoying things outside including talking on mobiles early in the morning and late at night and having sex in cars.

Anyway, got a letter from planning today telling me that planning permission for the mahoooosive fence they put up after they did all the annoying, noisy and intrusive building work, (the bastards) has been REFUSED.

Yes REFUSED! This is in no small part to the amazing letter written for me by MrsMarjoribanks. I can just picture their faces when they received it, their bemused looks as they tried to marry up the vision of ME with the letter in front of them Grin

So the fecking feckers have to take down their ugly fecking 10 foot fence.
I hope they dont, I hope they continue to think they can get away with anything they like, thus drawing more attention to themselves and getting their just desserts. SO NER!

Result!

StainlessSteelCat · 21/05/2012 13:12

Hearing that has made my day, so you must be ecstatic! Am so pleased for you :o

And no, YANBU

Tee2072 · 21/05/2012 13:13

Whoot! I haven't been commenting as I have nothing useful to add except 'what a bunch of feckers!' but I have been reading.

So glad you got this result!!!

FridayOLeary · 21/05/2012 13:13

But how can they be living in their gym Confused Shock

Has the house been changed into a multiple occupancy thingy?

What happens to the fence now?

NorksAreMessy · 21/05/2012 13:13

So, doesnt that mean that you now see MORE of the bungalow-style-gym?

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 21/05/2012 13:15

I will admit to being fairly pleased. I know I shouldnt be but its mainly down to the fact it will piss them off and cost them money.

Wankers.

I also got told I have been given more respite hours for DS today so that is nice.
I also joined the YMCA gym and met fell in love with the delightful Armand.
So that was nice too

Hangon a breezeblockerecting minute.

The fence was refuded, the, ahum, gym, allowed?

Seriously?

Feckers the lot of em.

And s-e-x in car? Will np-one think of the childeren?

NarkedPuffin · 21/05/2012 13:17

Yay!

ditavonteesed · 21/05/2012 13:19

glad things starting to go your way :) they are feckers, and weird feckers at that.

CharminglyOdd · 21/05/2012 13:25

Glad it was refused. I read this a few days ago and thought of you - meant to send a PM in case this is local to you and the people mentioned in the article (council officers) could help. Even if they aren't local they may know someone near to you who could help you sort out the fake gym problems. :)

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 21/05/2012 13:29

I KNOW! How feckering ironic is that? You can build a sodding house in your small urban garden but you cannot put a wooden fence up?

Its political correctness gorn maaad innit?

I am smirking because they will be all didgy at the thought of us being able to see that they are living in the bungalow once the fence is down.

Like we cant already Hmm. We DO have windows overlooking the garden so a short trip upstairs is all that is needed. A few sets of cheap venitian blinds do not a inviso-screen make (you knobbers).

I am looking forward to the hot weather because this means they have to open windows and leave the door open.

I am NOT a vindictive person normally. When it comes to these people I make an exception.

You could record the sex in cars and put it on the internets like that bloke did last week... that might stop them?

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 21/05/2012 13:31

Yes Norks but tbh I dont care. Their garden was full of crap before and the actual building is not that offensive (well not for our area)
The fence blocks out all my light and it makes them cocky.

eurochick · 21/05/2012 13:33

Hurrah! Have you reported them for breach of planning regs (for living in the "gym")?

BTW, if the most recent letter was significantly different from earlier letters, they probably think you now have a lawyer on board and so are paying you extra close attention.

NoOnesGoingToEatYourEyes · 21/05/2012 13:34

That's good news then. Smile

FashionEaster · 21/05/2012 13:35

Aren't you ever tempted to go down the bottom of the garden and shout 'Fire!' ?

EduStudent · 21/05/2012 13:36

Exception allowed.

Feckers. Absolute feckers.

FashionEaster · 21/05/2012 13:38

Saw your comments about the open windows - so lots of bonfires then at the bottom of the garden?

LineRunner · 21/05/2012 13:51

Top hole! And well done MrsMarjoriebanks of the Planning Knowledge.

Now they will know that you can easily and legimately gather evidence of their abuse of the 'permitted development' malarkey, i.e. it will be right In Your Face.

thisisyesterday · 21/05/2012 13:53

so, now they are living in it can you report it and get them kicked out?

i thought that's how they said it would work>

ripsishere · 21/05/2012 13:54

Wahey. Great news. I don't know the background to this, but from this thread alone it sounds well dodgy.

Eglu · 21/05/2012 13:54

Great news! Shame the stupid gym/house is still there but at least a small victory for you.

Stellarforstar · 21/05/2012 13:55

FashionEaster evil Grin

Mrs DV, so pleased they have got to take the fence down! I bet you don't even have to watch the telly any more, just look out the upstairs window!
