To wonder who is more hated, Blair or Thatcher?

Seems that Blair is planning a return to UK politics.

By me? Blair.

Good question. Am genuinely struggling to answer that one. Hate them both.

Blair on the other hand. Iraq. Need I say more. Now peace envoy.

As for the measly £350 000 tax he paid last year. Pah! Pull the other one Tony!

it is Thatcher, because she was a woman, and her time in power was a much more difficult one. Blair was pretty lucky, and is therefore forgiven/forgotten almost already....

he managed to get Brown to carry the can for the debt problems too (who was chancellor then pm, but still....)

On an emotional level, Thatcher because I think she waged a class war and never suppoed women. She also made bonkers statements like "there's no such thing as society".

On a rational level, Blair. Because of Iraq. Totally unjustifiable.

Would definitely say Thatcher especially where I come from but that might just have been because Blair was fortunate enough to be PM in the 'lucky decade'

It is Thatcher because she was a woman? What a load of nonsense, I loathe Thatcher because she destroyed communities, her being the first female PM was the only good/ inspiring thing about her.

Thatcher. by far. were you not around in the 80's? the hatred toward blair, cameron and brown is nothing by comparision. she changed this country for the worse and we are still picking up the pieces.

and it was nothing to do with her being a woman it was her policies why people really do truly hate her

Cutegorilla, I don't know about age divide, as I was only 1 when Thatcher came to power, and yet she is one of a handful of people I really and truly hate.
