Can't decide if I am sick to the stomach or ok with this

My friend's son is not far off 3 years of age and she let's him sit on her lap and place his hand down her top and, I can only presume, give booby a squeeze. It is obviously a comfort but I actually feel very uncomfortable when it happens. I have never thought that it is OK but I wonder whether I am just being a bit anal and it is not so bad.

Who says 'sick to the stomach' ffs?

Have a Biscuit whilst you calm down dear

catgirl1976 · 23/04/2012 19:37

Um..........I don't think it sounds bad. Maybe you'd have to see it or something to get what the problem is. Some people are still breast feeding at that age aren't they so I can't see the problem?

RaincoverRefuser · 23/04/2012 19:38

To misquote my dear dad:

As long as it's not your boobs, don't worry about it.

ArtVandelay · 23/04/2012 19:39

Why does it make you uncomfortable? He's only little Confused
Couldn't you just erm... not look?

Pancakeflipper · 23/04/2012 19:39

My 3 yr old puts his hand down my top. I don't ask him to, I don't sit jiggly them around. I am not particulary thrilled if he does it when we are out. It's a comfort thing. He does it when tired. I don't make an issue of it as his 6yr old brother did the same ( but now doesn't).

Hmmm sick to the stomach is a bit strong. DD does this (she's 2.3) and it does irritate me a bit sometimes, but it's just her way of comforting herself, so I think you are being a bit anal really.

Mishy1234 · 23/04/2012 19:40

Seriously?

I would be more worried about your reaction than that of the child tbh.

Completely and utterly normal, even if he isn't still breastfeeding.

GlitterySkulls · 23/04/2012 19:40

hahahahahahahaha... you CANNOT be serious!

RaincoverRefuser · 23/04/2012 19:41

Plus, "not far off 3" is 2. 2 tiny years on this planet, still a wee baby. What exactly is it that you read into this situation?

ShatnersBassoon · 23/04/2012 19:42

You really can't tell if you're repulsed or comfortable? Do you often confuse these feelings?

OrmIrian · 23/04/2012 19:44
Hmm

Why?

Graciescotland · 23/04/2012 19:44

DS 20 months does this to me normally when he's tired and wants a mummy cuddle. TBH I thought I was being pretty restrained not just to whip a boob out...

thisisyesterday · 23/04/2012 19:45

yabu

BusinessTrills · 23/04/2012 19:46

YABU to "decide" - surely if you are "sick to the stomach" that's an physical reaction.

You can decide if you like it or not, but you can't decide if it makes you feel sick or not.

scarletforya · 23/04/2012 19:46

Er, my nephew used to do this to me while I was babysitting him at night. It's just a harmless comfort thing! YABU !

maras2 · 23/04/2012 19:46

Woody, you are very strange to even think about this.

do you have children OP?

catgirl1976 · 23/04/2012 19:48

My DS grabs anyones boobs - he is indiscriminate.

Luckily, no one has thrown up on him yet :)

Kveta · 23/04/2012 19:49

YABU. my nearly 3 year old spends every morning sucking furiously at my boobs. Nothing sexual or repulsive about it, and it shuts him up for DH and I to get an extra 20 minutes pretending we're asleep before we have to get up and face the day.

unless you missed out a '0' and meant nearly 30 year old. that would be wrong.

IAmBooyhoo · 23/04/2012 19:49

get this OP. some 2 year olds actually put their whole heads down their mum's tops and feed from her boob!!

imagine that!

HoldOnWoody · 23/04/2012 19:51

Maybe it is me. That is why I am asking. I have girls and boys. I breast fed. I don't let them put their hands down my top and squeeze my boobs.

OP posts:
catgirl1976 · 23/04/2012 19:52

If you know whow to stop a child sqeezing your boobs while breast feeding Woody, do let me know :) DS is far from gentle....I thought squeezing went with the territory
