Dd is 17m.

One of my oldest friends is getting married next month. She's only having her sister as a bridesmaid, I think due to costs etc but not sure.

She isn't have any little bridesmaids if that makes a difference.

My mum wants to buy her a dress like this but I'm not sure if it'll seem a bit odd. Ill not be wearing a dress btw and her dad and brother who is 5 will be in kilts.

What do you reckon? Dd doesn't have much hair bless her so I'd like her to wear something girly so people don't think she's a boy

You need to lay cat mint down the aisle so that the cat walks behind the bride and groom. Everyone will love the secret bridesmaid cat!

Well I thought I could get a diamante lead and dd could, you know, walk her down the aisle, not as a bridesmaid you understand, just helping the cat.

Fair enough. But of course you need to get a matching dress for DD. Just so she doesn't show the cat up you understand.

And maybe you could hire someone to take a video of the cat. I'm sure the bride won't be bridezilla enough to mind a cameraman crawling up the aisle after your cat.

Excellent idea. I imagine the cameraman would have to go in front really - hope bloody bride doesn't get in the way - you know what these bridezillas are like - me me me!

I know! As it would make a difference to them.

And don't forget to take a litter tray into the church either.

Oh I'm not taking a litter tray - therell be loads of flower displays she can use...

Good point. After all cats are so clean and always bury their poo. If anyone suggests differently just tell them they must hate all animals.

Loving the cat outfit!Grin

I wonder if my MiL will try to get her cats into my wedding, being as how I've managed to include all the DCs and DNs, so she can't do a stealth bridesmaid.

HavePatience · 29/02/2012 11:18

MrsWembly, perhaps you need to think about making a space for the cat in your wedding Wink otherwise people might think you've done a secret deal with her for the cat and will be angry that their cats weren't included.

I also can't see why people get upset when they or their dc aren't included in a wedding party. Surely everyone who is invited is a part of it? And what's with all of the hierarchy?

I am glad that I didn't have bridesmaids at all. Everyone there was 'equal', even the wildlife and pets Grin

Hmm, how to include cats and not offend other cat-owning guests...

Seriously though, I'm having four bridesmaids (none of them maids thoughWink) and three flower girls so that no-one Grandma can get upset. Still got to work out what to do with DS. Maybe MiL will dress him up...

Stealth or secret bridesmaids, guestzillas, mothers of friends with grandchildren to pamper, all things I hadn't considered when I made my guest list.
