to find it extraordinary how many women shag multiple men within the space of a couple of weeks?

I've been dong some intensive reseacrh via Jeremy Kyle and find it amazing how many people shag different people one day to the next.

Is this normal behaviour?

I always assumed most people tend to only do one at a time, with at least a couple of weeks break in between and therefore know who would be the father of their progeny.

Am I hoplesly naiive and old fasioned?

AYC didn't you post a thread a few weeks back about One Born Every Minute, in which it seemed you had genuinely not considered that women might not want people seeing their genitalia on TV?

I find your attitude there curiously at odds with your shock at women having more than one sexual partner per month.

I haven't found one man fanciable enough to shag in the last eight years so am frankly a wee bit envious of those who find several in the space of a fortnight lol! Gonna hang around a few bus stops now lol!

Surely you'd want a 3 month gap unless you have known fertility issues though as ANY contraceptive can fail? Same with STD's.(Or is that the product of my conservative upbringing?)

I just can't imagine putting myself in a position where I couldn't identify the daddy unless I'd been raped. I was no angel when younger, but the line from fun into total stupidity was one not crossed.

Heyyyho · 03/02/2012 14:10

YOU Madam, are a disgrace...

OhTootles · 03/02/2012 14:14

On JK all the men these women sleep with seem to be related or friends and everyone knows everyone. I think that makes it worse, rather than a one night stand that it forgotten these women are doing the rounds.

I completely agree with a womans right to have sex when, with who and how often she likes but find the idea of not knowing who a baby's father is just awful.

cece · 03/02/2012 14:21

Sorry after watching the link below this one popped up and is hilarious

Classy gene pool there.

Al0uisee · 03/02/2012 15:30

They are a fertile bunch aren't they, the Kylers, perhaps the universe is trying to tell us something.

Maybe we should forget our morals, education, careers, soap ....

The way forward is to shag indiscriminately and procreate with the skankiest human specimens that can be found because they will survive the apocalypse armed only with cans of Tennants super, 20 Lambert & Butler and raging herpes.

HipHopOpotomus · 03/02/2012 16:43

yes it is normal.
In Mama Mia, Meryl Streep slept with three men in just a few days and got PG. No one called her a slapper - they called her a HUGE international success!!!

Grin

ps - you might want to start limiting the JK exposure

HipHopOpotomus · 03/02/2012 16:45

personally I had a policy of "period between pals"!
just to avoid any such potential dilemma.

BoringSchoolChoiceNickname · 03/02/2012 16:58

Well it's clearly not very normal, because if it was, JK wouldn't be booking them and paying them and the rest of us wouldn't be gawping.
Nobody's advertising in the back of Take a Break magazine "Have you had two children who are both the offspring of your husband, with whom you still live? Do you occasionally eat an extra Jaffa cake at tea time? Would you like to talk to our researchers?"

oiwheresthecoffee · 03/02/2012 17:04

I did a lot of shagging around in my teens 20s and er sometimes still do ! And yes sometimes more than one bloke if im not in a relationship. Its fun , i like sex i use protection so why not. :)

molly3478 · 03/02/2012 17:05

I think it is pretty normal to have had sex with a couple of men in a short space of time, its just most people dont get pregnant or would have an abortion if they did.

Really you can do what you want if you look 'respectable' and no one would think you were 'like that'

oiwheresthecoffee · 03/02/2012 17:06

And i have never been on Jezza !

AtYourCervix · 03/02/2012 17:18

so to conclude......

my jeremy kyle watching is out of control.

because i watch jeremy kyle and it confuses me i am incapable of doing my job.

because i am confused by jeremy kyle i am not allowed to be confused by other stuff.

am i also not allowed to be confused by driving, people who drink milk or sudoku?

Chubfuddler · 03/02/2012 17:33

I have to say I found the premise of mamma Mia pretty shocking .

AtYourCervix · 03/02/2012 17:38

me too. simply dreadful

OP posts:
Chubfuddler · 03/02/2012 17:41

And I felt the same way about Three Men and a Baby when I was little.

Tortington · 03/02/2012 17:43

i thing societal nd moral constructs are interesting

my brian tells me - 'hey custy, it doesn't matter who you shag men or woman as long as all is consensual and everyone is happy - what is wrong or immoral about this?'

but i couldn't do it

AtYourCervix · 03/02/2012 17:48

And to add to my conclusion for all the funsponging doubters with their bloody pants of rage hitched high.

As I said about 5 hours ago, I really don't give a shit, I just wondered if it was standard behaviour. It appears it is.

Also I like to keep my lips butterfly soft (soft lips - soft perineum) so tend not to purse them at people.

OP posts:
TheBigJessie · 03/02/2012 18:02

You can be confused by as many things as you like. But if they conflict, other people may notice and be confused. I don't think I commented on your OBEM thread, but it's going to stick in my head for years. Thus I have now ended up posting on this one, because you've confused me.

I do not know whether any of this would impact on your job; I do not even know your profession.

Gay40 · 03/02/2012 18:03

I am still laughing at the "extra jaffa cake at teatime" scenario Grin

AtYourCervix · 03/02/2012 18:06

how does blurring your foof when there is a baby's head emerging have anything at all to do with jeremy kyle and shagging? Confused

OP posts:
TheBigJessie · 03/02/2012 18:10

PS: Sudoku is/are Jessica-rated 5 star for confusion-acceptibility.

Give me a general knowledge crossword and wikipedia any day.

AtYourCervix · 03/02/2012 18:11

sudoku makes me feel like i am slowly dying inside.

OP posts:
TheBigJessie · 03/02/2012 18:20

it was the fact that it appeared that it had genuinely not occurred to you that the women themselves might want their genitalia blurred to a nation of viewers.

Showing one's foof and participating in activities with said foof with two different people within the space of a fortnight seems so minor in comparison.
