I've been dong some intensive reseacrh via Jeremy Kyle and find it amazing how many people shag different people one day to the next.

Is this normal behaviour?

I always assumed most people tend to only do one at a time, with at least a couple of weeks break in between and therefore know who would be the father of their progeny.

Am I hoplesly naiive and old fasioned?

and all my jeremy kyle musings this week is entirely bloody works fault. my hours have changed and i am now mostly around in the mornings. and it's too cold to go out, so i end up watching shite TV.

I see that Jezze has both a Facebook AND Twitter account now. I thought he hated Facebooks and Twitter?

Its where he finds his guests. He hates everything but tends to spend a lot of time doing what he hates. Odd little man.

aldi - you are right. maybe that's what is bugging me. it all seems so bloody anguished, rather than fun.

Before I was with ex-H, I had lots of sex with lots of men (only ever one at a time though). It was, mostly, fun...and as some of them had to be shown how to do a half decent job, I think I've probably helped lots of other women in the long term.

TBH now I'm not with ex-H, I'd quite like to have lots of sex, with lots of men (don't think I could be arsed with showing them what to do). Sadly, the fact I have 3 DCs at home and only 1 night a fortnight off, I don't really get as much as I'd like.

It is the lack of contraception and protection from STI's that I find shocking.

I get why having lots of sex is great, what I don't get is having lots of unprotected sex with really ugly, unwashed Jez Kyle contestants and becoming impregnated by them.

i think for me it just happened naturally that way, especially in my early 30s when i was a single parent, so i wasn't looking for any sort of conventional husband/bf set up (although i do now have a lovely dh), and that freed me to, i'm going to use the word 'explore', relationships with a bunch of different wonderful men who would have been hopeless as longterm monogamous relationships... there were two who worked and lived overseas so i'd see one for one day every month when he was in the country, and the other would generally be in the UK for a week or so every couple of months.

There are probably more people who have sex with more than one person at the same time, well not at the same time but ykwim, than shown on JK but those on JK are the ones who don't bother to use contraception.

Yes Al0 - why am i not having lots of sex? conveniently forgets about DH and the DDs i know i'm a bit fat but i do have all my own teeth and i have shiney clean hair. why am i not even ever offered some sex? i don't get it.

I certainly don't understand why the Jezza men (all skinny crack addict looking types) FIGHT over the greasy, unwashed, simple larger ladies. Who spend ALL day having sex by the way they talk. I want to know how they find the time.

And how they ALWAYS get pregnant - I thought it was supposed to be more difficult if you are significantly overweight and chain smoke and snort crack all day??

OK ,sometimes shagging lots of men, especially if you don't use contraception, is a sign that you are unhappy/boundaries issues/something else wrong. But then, those of us who do it because we like it and who also take care of contraception and choose people who are not arseholes or dangerous, well, we don't go on Jeremy Kyle. Because we don't have a problem with sex.

From some of the replies on here (and some of them have really shocked me) it looks like you are, but FWIW I am as well.

Sex with men that know what they're doing,everyone consenting and contraception in place is very nice indeed.

Sex with a JK man whose notion of foreplay is unzipping his tracksuit top and putting his fag out, not so nice.

Yes I get annoyed at the constant suspicion of promiscuous women that they have issues, are needy, trying to get men to love them etc.
I'm sure some do. But lots, like me, just had so much fun they kept doing it. I didn't want a relationship with 99% of my partners, I just wanted sex.
