.....to be upset and pissed off with DH's reaction over sexy dress up

So.....pre kids we were at it like rabbits, lots of role play, lots of dress up.

3 kids in 5 years later and it's all about poo and sleep habits.

I thought...we're staying in new year's eve so wht not make the most of it. I put all the kids to bed and came down for dinner in a school girl's outfit, fishnets and heels.....and he just laughed! I didn't feel sexy - just felt like an idiot.

We had a row over dinner about something else but no doubt triggered by how I felt about his reaction.

When one of them is imagining fucking a schoolgirl it is yes.

elfyrespect · 31/12/2011 23:42

Isn't one of them pretending not to be a consenting adult though Bellstar?

LittleGnu · 31/12/2011 23:42

Yes, Bellstar, it is to some people!

RomanChristingle · 31/12/2011 23:44

That's right elfy - for the enjoyment of the other party.

LineRunner · 31/12/2011 23:44

O dear god, the Krankies explains it all.

The dichotomy, my weirdness, the endless laughter. Wine

NewYearFestiveCheer · 31/12/2011 23:44

Amazing - it's not just you lol!

I was just wondering if the women against dressing in school uniform don't shave their legs, armpits, or bikini lines cause god forbid their DPs might think about children if they have smooth hairless legs...

squeakytoy · 31/12/2011 23:44

imagining your WIFE when SHE was a teenage schoolgirl, is not the same as imagining the person you are screwing is actually a schoolgirl..

LittleGnu · 31/12/2011 23:45

Exactly NewYear. I've never done it, but would have no problem with the idea at all.

But most adult women remove bodily hair. They don't walk round in school uniforms.

LineRunner · 31/12/2011 23:48

happy new cliche!

I have been with my DP since I was 16. From that age until I was 18, I was still at school, where I wore a uniform. It does not necessarily have anything to do with being underage or illegality. It is perfectly feasible that a man could find a schoolgirl outfit sexy without having the remotest interest in children, and insinuating that all men who would find it attractive is a paedophile is sneery and horrible.

TuftyFinch · 31/12/2011 23:53

So. When your DDs are, say, 15. Would you borrow their uniform to indulge your 'fantasy'?

No. Thought not.

NewYearFestiveCheer · 31/12/2011 23:54

It's not totally different most adult women in the uk do it, not in Europe etc. And I'm very close to someone who was assaulted as a child and I know that she understands the difference between consenting adults dressing up and that it does not mean that one of them is fantasising about children!

ElectricSoftParade · 31/12/2011 23:55

I may have --usually- hairless pits and legs but nobody, especially Dh, would be able to hide from my pubes.

I am slightly weary of being told I am perverted. My DH and I have a reasonable sex life and when we do something slightly different it has usually been at my instigation.

That may be because it is the "accepted fantasy for men" and I do have (sometimes) mixed feelings about what I find sexually arousing. But, hey-ho, do like what we do together.

Is this so very wrong?

NewYearFestiveCheer · 31/12/2011 23:58

S not wrong at all electric - you're not hurting anyone. I think there's too many Dm readers offering their 'opinions'

slowburner · 31/12/2011 23:59

Had an ex that wanted me to dress as a librarian. Ho hum.

I reckon my DH would be a bit funny about me suddenly appearing 'dressed to impress' without giving him a heads up no pun intended but that wouldn't stop him leaping into action. I'm sorry you got the reaction you did, perhaps it's given him food for thought fir the next time you dress to impress. As for what you wear who gives a f in your own home, you could dress as Maggie thatcher if it gave you both pleasure!

The vicar thing is intriguing.......

NewYearFestiveCheer · 01/01/2012 00:00

Happy new year everyone, btw

ElectricSoftParade · 01/01/2012 00:05

Joyful new year all

OP and her husband

ElectricSoftParade · 01/01/2012 00:10

Nasty

Sariah · 01/01/2012 00:10

Personally I think the school girl fantasy is more about the guy who fancied girls in his class/year/school when he was a teen but maybe they were never fulfilled and by his adult partner dressing up she is allowing him to fulfill this fantasy as an adult with an adult but appealing to the school boy in his who may have harboured such fantasies. Nothing sick about that imo. Wouldnt be my cup of tea as I prefer to dress as a cheap slut than an innocent school girl.

SlinkingOutsideInSocks · 01/01/2012 00:14

The thing is, no amount of saying it's 'vile' or 'disgusting' is going to alter the fact that this is two consenting, married adults indulging in a bit of consenting fun. They're married. Middle-aged, virtually (sorry OP Grin). They're both up for it. They're having sex with each other - that is the bottom line - another virtually middle-aged person, whom they're in a committed relationship with. Not with a minor, an animal, a dead person or a giraffe. Their spouse.

What they fantasise about behind closed doors is what they fantasise about. Nobody shouting that they're vile is going to alter anything here. Nobody is going to stop doing something that's not wrong, just because some other people - who have zero impact on their life - don't like it.

Thingumy · 01/01/2012 00:15

Happy new year!
