Here is the video of it happening.

Do you think the police should respond?

AgentProvocateur · 28/11/2011 22:18

Yes. No question. Do you?

IneedAbetterNickname · 28/11/2011 22:19

She has been arrested.

FabbyChic · 28/11/2011 22:19

She has been arrested see the other thread on here.

MenopausalHaze · 28/11/2011 22:20

Arrested and taken away for a long period of reprogramming. And the child taken from her at once. Disgusting creature.

omydarlin · 28/11/2011 22:20

Yes she should - of course she should. That poor child.

himynameisfred · 28/11/2011 22:20

Yes, but I'm unsure what should be her punishment, what do you think?

I know she's been held under suspicion of breaking the peace.

I don't know if they'll charge her or what the punishment will be.

OP posts:
MenopausalHaze · 28/11/2011 22:21

They want to throw the book at her and charge her with every possible offence that her behaviour warrants.

lisad123 · 28/11/2011 22:23

I'm surprised she didn't get beaten up, but think if she didn't have her boy with her she wouldn't have been so brave!
Shocking behaviour

himynameisfred · 28/11/2011 22:27

Yeah, I think she was hiding behind her little boy knowing no one could touch her.
If she was a single male she'd likely to beaten.
.

Sadly, I know people around me who have her attitude, it's really incredibly disgusting that people teach their kids this drivel.

LeBOF · 28/11/2011 22:28

There's a long thread about this already and lots of short ones.

GypsyMoth · 28/11/2011 22:31

Well if it's breach if the peace, she will be out in a couple if hours

lisad123 · 28/11/2011 22:31

And since when was Britain owned by anyone?! Her britain! She puts the British people to shame.

Anyone think she sounded drunk? You would have hoped someone would have called the police if she was especially with that little one on her lap.
One black boy behide her looked like he was about to punch her.
Those people did so well to stay so calm.

runningwilde · 28/11/2011 22:49

Exactly - this country invaded and colonised so many places yet she thinks all non whites should fuck off?!

That poor boy having that vile excuse for a human being as a mum

She looked like she was on something

ReindeerBollocks · 28/11/2011 22:51

Yes, she committed a criminal offence and has rightly been arrested (and probably will be charged soon, if not already).

Should people not be arrested when they commit an offence then? Hmm

Bohica · 28/11/2011 22:55

She did look like she was off her face and the couple behind her had to hold the man back.

I was upset to watch the little boy who thought nothing of her jeffing it was like it is normal for his mum to shout abuse at strangers.

She just came across as an uneducated idiot to me and I hope that's how the adults on the train swa her, her child deserves a lot better.

aurynne · 28/11/2011 22:56

They should take that poor little boy off her while still in time, and hopefully before he ends up as another racist violent fuckwit as his mum obviously is.

Kayano · 28/11/2011 23:00

They should def not let her influence that
Poor child any further.

MrsTerryPratchett · 29/11/2011 03:59

I was actually quite impressed with my fellow Croydonites/Croydonians (sic). They confronted her, said what needed to be said and there was no violence. The person behind/beside was getting up (maybe to do more than talk) but was convinced that she wasn't worth it.

I'm sure she was under the influence of something (possibly stupidity and alcohol at least) and I feel horrified and sad for the little boy. I know lots of people who work for Croydon Social Services and they are wonderful. If something needs looked into, I would trust them with it.

tigerlillyd02 · 29/11/2011 04:54

Although quite shocking - what she said exactly doesn't bother me too much - adults can all fight amongst themselves. I applaud the majority on the tram for keeping their cool in what you would have thought to be circumstances with more devestating effects.

However, the language used infront of so many babies and young children is appalling. On top of the shouting and verbal abuse - what child needs to hear that. If I'd have been there with my DS, we'd have promptly made it out of the way as much as is possible.

I felt incredibly sorry for her child thoroughout this. He sat so still, obviously well behaved and didn't bat an eyelid to all the commotion which suggests he's either scared of his mom or just used to the behavior. I desperately wanted to pull him away and show him what 'normality' is as I'm pretty sure he doesn't see any of that.

She's breeding violence in that poor, innocent child who deserves so much more. And when he grows to be a violent young man, in and out of prison, possibly harming others in society, the majority of the country will deem him 'low life scum' and want him locked up with the key thrown away.

I hope the authorities try to help him now, before it's too late.

pigletmania · 29/11/2011 08:01

Oh yes of course, and little boy placed in care and adopted

pigletmania · 29/11/2011 08:02

If I shout like that my dd would have hated it and started bawling her eyes out.

happysmellyfeet · 29/11/2011 08:12

God that is sad on so many levels...

I don't know where to start.

Do people really think like that today?

What happened to education?

Fuck. How depressing.

Sad
scottishmummy · 29/11/2011 08:21

dreadful, vile for other travellers and the children
she has been arrested
need further info really about her, social circs/any Mh Ax etc
considering the extreme provocation the other travellers held it together and well challenged too

terrible that people subjected to that verbal racist abuse minding own business travelling
makes me sad but no I am not surprised
and its sad that I'm not surprised..

boohoohoo · 29/11/2011 08:38

That was sickening and very upsetting to watch, hope they charge her with inciting hatred (am I right in thinking they can now?). The complete irony is can you imagine if Britain was as she wanted? Jesus would anyone want to live in a country full of people just like her! I have to say that poor child, what chance does he have in life with her as a mother.

I hope they deport her to the moon.
