Here is the video of it happening.

Do you think the police should respond?

'He deserves his chance of a happy home life and childhood and, from what I could see, his mum wasn't giving him that.'

So you are the judge who would remove her child based on a youtube clip of her outrageous behaviour on a train?

What paper do you read? I bet it's liberal. Try reading the case that Solomon tried, when he returned teh child to its mother who really loved it.

claig · 29/11/2011 18:37

'go on tell us are you her/ related to her or something?'

No. But I'm more glad I'm not related to people like you, who thinks she is a "sack of shit".

lottielou39 · 29/11/2011 18:38

LynnLynn, she's actually not entitled to her vile disgusting opinion because racial aggravation like this is against the law. What she did was breaking the law. She doesn't have the right to express this opinion and thank God for that.

KeepInMindItsAlmostChristmas · 29/11/2011 18:38

fifth commandment....Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

That poor child is going to struggle with that one as his mother behaves like a sack of shit!!!

Kayano · 29/11/2011 18:39

As an adopted child (I say this quite a
Lot lol) I think this country often does too much to ensure that a child stays with its biological parents when clearly they are terrible and unsuitable parents.

I'm so glad I was adopted and am therefore obv biased here but that little boy deserves so much better.

She is a sack of shit...

But that's my 'opinion' Hmm

claig · 29/11/2011 18:40

'That poor child is going to struggle with that one as his mother behaves like a sack of shit'

That's what you think of his mother, but it isn't what the child thinks.

ImperialBlether · 29/11/2011 18:40

She was using her own child as a shield. She knew nobody would threaten her whilst she was holding him. He was scared and too scared to say anything. He was clearly used to her behaviour.

You're goddamned right I'd take him off her.

And it is not too late for her child to have a normal life and not stay with her and be brought up to see what a sack of shit she is or worse be turned in to one himself

What can we do to mend our society which lets someone get to adulthood with so little education and so much anger.
The whole thing saddens me- her child, the other passengers, anyone that has to encounter these vile views, anyone that has them and anyone baying for her blood.

Kayano · 29/11/2011 18:43

Of course the child won't think that ecause he doesn't know that there is anything different. People who would love him and do right by him Sad

It is so upsetting to think of that little boys future and he should be taken away from her if that is the way she treats him and deems it appropriate to be racist in front of him

maypole1 · 29/11/2011 18:43

She has been remaned in custody until next week were she will have a mental health assemnet

So the boy is either in care or with a relative so ss will be involved thank god

fastweb · 29/11/2011 18:43

She was clearly on drugs

Maybe. Maybe not. The psychiatrict eveluation she is undergoing will probably investigate that possibility.

2BoysTooLoud · 29/11/2011 18:44

I think it is in the face of such innocence- her little boy- which is making this truly horrifying outburst almost unbearable to watch. [Also the hurt on the face young man sitting behind her].
It is hard to imagine that little boy has a good life - though obviously he is not alone in that.
Someone on the thread says she comes from a well known racist family- great. If the child is taken from her he will probably go to a relative.
I hope this whole situation is a huge wake up call for her and that she is capable of changing. Quite possibly not.
I hope her son's care/ lifestyle will be scrutinised- I'm sure it will.

Kayano · 29/11/2011 18:44

I bet she gets him back Sad

The reason I wouldn't remove the child from her based on the crime she's been charged with is because to my mind it sets too dangerous a precedent. It's not illegal to hold racist views, it is illegal to express them in the manner which she did. My worry would be that a soceity which begins to decide who to take parental responsibility from based on the beliefs that they hold could be on a very slippery slope.
If the argument is based on the issue of removing her child due to potential drug/drink abuse or psychological issues then that is something which I would need more info on before I'd feel comfortable to comment.

claig · 29/11/2011 18:55

Oh, did you report me KeepInMindItsAlmostChristmas?
I'll let your post about me being a troll stand, I don't need any bridges to help me out.

MotherPanda · 29/11/2011 18:59

So... she was sobbing in court. Because she's sorry, or sorry she was caught?

maypole1 · 29/11/2011 19:00

We can not and should not allow children to be raised in this poisonous environment

If we won't remove a child from a dangerous mother when will we act

Its a testament to the passengers that she wasn't attacked but she may not be so lucky next time most on the tram were adults but if she had spouted that with teens on the tram she might of been for it

We cant have people in charge of children who go out provoking fights especially while they are with their kids.

maypole1 · 29/11/2011 19:02

And she has two yes two children

Clossaintjacques · 29/11/2011 19:11

I think the best thing for her would be compulsory re education to try and get her to understand how wrong, hurtful and ill informed her views are. That's obviously in addition to addressing her parenting skills and anger problems.

It's just awful isn't it.

I have been on the receiving end of a racially motivated physical and verbal attack for being "white trash" by a large group of non white young girls. It was really awful and the perpetrators of these sort of attacks need re educating.
