a drunk conversation on a girls night sparked the conversation of shaving down there.... i was very surprised to hear that out of 11 females only 3 still had hair down there.... Its not something i ever thought about before, and in the conversation i was 1 of the 3 that wasn't completely bare down there lol i am now the center of several hairy jokes, which doesn't bother me as they are quite funny... But anyway, as none of us no each other on here my question is are most people bare down there?

haha it never occurred to me to do anything with my bush other than make sure no spiders legs popped out in a swimsuit until i started having boyfriends and one of them decided it needed trimming!

AKissIsNotAContract · 26/10/2011 12:38

Mardy: my man shaves completely, including bumcrack. It's easy to encourage them to do it as it makes their cock look bigger and makes bum wiping easier.

StaceymAloneForver · 26/10/2011 12:45

Grin akiss

loveglove · 26/10/2011 12:53

How does one shave ones own butt crack effectively?

MrsStephenFry · 26/10/2011 13:08

You can do whatever you want yourself, but whats with all the eww and gross remarks about women having hair? Thats the bonkers bit, and makes you look so brainwashed.

So fucking depressing.

valiumredhead · 26/10/2011 13:09

Imo the only people that should have hairless fannies are children and porn stars and I am neither!

Chattymummyhere · 26/10/2011 13:17

MrsStephenFry How is it depressing that we disliek body hair? Im sure there is something you dislike about your self? Body hair is removable so if we decide to remove it, it is up to us... Also brainwashed? I can assure you I shaved down there before I ever had a BF or watched Porn so im not quite sure where brainwashed would come into this? It was simple I HATE body hair so I remove it no-one makes me do it.

It would be like me saying I feel depressed when I see a women in a swimsuit with her curlys hanging out infact it grosses me out but if the women is comftable like that, then thats up to her surely?

and yes midwifes have been none to talk about womens pubes, I can reflect on many a funny story I have been told by midwifes and midwifes friends about womens bushes needing chainsaws at them to find babys etc

TheQueenOfDeDead · 26/10/2011 13:26

mrsstephenfry must have missed the eww gross posts about woman having pubic hair Hmm

I wax all but a patch and I love it. I have heavy periods and feel much cleaner and sex is better. What's not to like?

AKissIsNotAContract · 26/10/2011 13:27

loveglove: I do it for him Blush
Mine gets done as part of my Brazilian.

MrsOzz · 26/10/2011 13:30

Pubic hair removal is hardly a new thing though. Islamic culture has required both men and women to shave their pubic hair it for years and years.

I don't like the feel of body hair, I much prefer to be smoth and touchable.

I think it's feminist brainwashing that makes women want to be hairy like men!

MillyR · 26/10/2011 13:30

A lot of people will also mock people (usually not to their face!) who have removed pubic hair.

I don't think that worrying about other people's preferences for hair or the lack of it is a good reason to keep it or leave it.

DontGoCurly · 26/10/2011 13:32

I hate that pubic hair is 'political' -it's just a personal preference like plucking your eyebrows or not or wearing makeup or not.

Can't stand the extreme arguments people spout about grown women looking prepubescent. Of course they dont. They are womens bodies excersising their personal preference.
Or the other argument about anyone who has pubic hair being disgusting. How ridiculous.

Live and let live I say! Each to their own.

TwoIfBySea · 26/10/2011 13:34

It's a lady garden not a desert.

Having your lulu shaved/waxed to look like a little girl is a little iffy tbh.

worraliberty · 26/10/2011 13:36

Very rich coming from you MrsStephenFry After you said this "Of course I'm not hairless, I'm a grown woman, not a child"

I'm sure we're well aware the posters on this thread are all adults and as such we can do as we please with our own bodies without negative remarks from others Wink

TheVampireEmpusa · 26/10/2011 13:36

What DontGoCurly said, if it doesn't affect you personally why care what someone else does?

catgirl1976 · 26/10/2011 13:36

Having it shaved or waxed to "look like a little girl" is iffy

Having it shaved or waxed because you, as a grown woman, you decide you prefer it that way is not.

I am not aware of anyone doing it "so they can look like a little girl"

TheVampireEmpusa · 26/10/2011 13:38

"Having your lulu shaved/waxed to look like a little girl is a little iffy tbh."

Oh yes, because that's the number one reason women shave there Hmm

ps. calling it a lulu is a "bit iffy"

jinxediam · 26/10/2011 13:38

none here...tried it after reading a very heated thread on here and liked it that way! Sex is better and it looks so much nicer. I cringe now when I see any re-growth...ewww.

I am 31.

I also like it when DH keeps himself erm tidy [hwink]

bibbitybobbitybloodyaxe · 26/10/2011 13:38

If I happen to see a baldy in the changing rooms at the swimming pool, I think it looks odd. But then I am old, nearly 50, and the few porn magazines I saw when I was younger featured women with the full bush. I suppose porn stars started to get rid of it all when their poses became more gynaelogical. It is the link with pornography that makes hairless fannies on grown women wholly unappealing to me.

AnyPhantomFucker · 26/10/2011 13:39

OP will be back when he's cleared up all the sticky tissues

MrsStephenFry · 26/10/2011 13:41

Its the negative remarks about themselves tgat are depressing. The opinion that hairless looks childish is hardly contraversial, however the comments from women saying hair is eww and yucky are far worse. Think about it.

AKissIsNotAContract · 26/10/2011 13:42

APF: :) He'd have to be pretty desperate to get a wank out of this thread!

jinxediam · 26/10/2011 13:42

I should also add that I have a thing about body hair and have removed arm/leg/underarm hair since I can remember. I have now got a thing about facial hairs so maybe mine has turned into a bit of a phobia Confused.

I feel itchy and twitchy if I get any regrowth...such is the nature of hair removal tho I guess....sigh.

worraliberty · 26/10/2011 13:43

But if your'e going to insult women with your 'little girl' jibe then you should perhaps be prepared for it?

AnyPhantomFucker · 26/10/2011 13:44

AKNAC...yup

and ? Wink
