To think it's weird that Victoria Beckham has taken her baby (insanely expensive) clothes shopping 3 days in a row in sky high heels followed by paparazzi

Ok I admit I saw these pics in the daily hate mail but come on, why would you wear these mountanous heels tottering around with your tiny baby in Prada/whatever 3 days in a row... dons hard hat........

She's working innit - NY Fashion Week. And the baby generates even more interest.

nickschick · 16/09/2011 21:18

she sposed to have a bad back .......

PollyPeppa · 16/09/2011 21:18

Oh right, erm.. even worse then?!

The shoes look stupid.

You don't see other designers going shopping all the time, it's a bit odd.

Baby Harper is gorgeous though, those chubby little legs!

Flisspaps · 16/09/2011 21:19

She'd be equally flamed for going out without the baby and leaving it with a nanny/relative.

notherdaynotherdollar · 16/09/2011 21:20

she loves the paps cos she is a media whore

and the baby is just a media-attracting accessory

picnicbasketcase · 16/09/2011 21:20

Yes it is weird, but not as weird as bfing only the last out of her four children. But that's neither here nor there.

RCToday · 16/09/2011 21:20

she is using the baby to hide to baby bump

bibbitybobbityhat · 16/09/2011 21:20

Its not at all weird, it is entirely predictable behaviour from this pathological attention seeker. Surely you wouldn't expect her to put in her appearances at work and leave her precious baybee girl at home with Daddy or the Nanny?

anonacfr · 16/09/2011 21:21

It is totally ridiculous.

Considering she is wondering around on stupid heels with no buggy, nappy bag, or even handbag for that matter we can safely say that she's doing it for the paps' benefit.
Nice way to whore out an infant.

PollyPeppa · 16/09/2011 21:23

Odd, very odd.... Surely with that much money you would have found other interests, or could that be the moral of the story?

clearly i am in a minority hwere, but i don't really think it's that odd to walk around holding your own baby. and as she is breastfeeding she isn't going to leave her with the nanny all day is she cos she'll want feeding?

PippiLongBottom · 16/09/2011 21:24

I only breastfed the last of my three children. Just saying.

YouWinOrYouDie · 16/09/2011 21:24

Nine weeks old, isn't she? Good for VB. It was a bit different when she had her first child as there were many times when she just had to leave him because she was maximising her fame / income as a Spice Girl. Doesn't seem to have done him any harm at all, he's a lovely young man earmarked for DD Smile

As for the heels, well, if you're only stepping out of a car and into a plushly-carpeted shop, why not? She isn't trekking down to Asda in the rain.

Flisspaps · 16/09/2011 21:25

Why should she have to change her hobbies because she's got money? I love shopping, and the more money I have, the better it is!

pinkytheshrinky · 16/09/2011 21:25

At least she has her child with her - so many slebs don't bother. Being with her Mother is good for the baby whether that Mother is wearing appropriate shoes or not.

backwardpossom · 16/09/2011 21:26

I agree, thisisyesterday. Why shouldn't she?

LemonDifficult · 16/09/2011 21:26

She's holding her baby across her tummy so people can't pap her figure.

RCToday · 16/09/2011 21:26

'whore out an infant'

me thinks you are over investing in this

PPPop · 16/09/2011 21:26

If you are breastfeeding, the last thing you would wear would be a dress that zips up at the back....

wigglesrock · 16/09/2011 21:28

Nope, I think she's a lucky ducky to be able to go clothes shopping whenever she wants, and I just slipped down two of my stairs in my bare feet while carrying my 7 month old.

HappyMummyOfOne · 16/09/2011 21:28

The heels are daft and I dont recall her carrying the boys around like that which speaks volumes.

FreudianSlipper · 16/09/2011 21:29

well the beckhams love press attention

thisisyesterday · 16/09/2011 21:31

why not pppop?

ok she isn't going to just sit down and pop baby on, but all she has to do is unzip and slip the top down....
for all we know it may have secret side openings for breastfeeding anyway.

it's just a woman out shopping with her baby fgs

troisgarcons · 16/09/2011 21:31

Love her or loathe her (and its always clear where the majority lay) you cant actually knock her or him for being hands on parents with what appear to be well adjusted children.

A few parents on here could take a leaf out of the Beckhams book.
