To think it's weird that Victoria Beckham has taken her baby (insanely expensive) clothes shopping 3 days in a row in sky high heels followed by paparazzi

Ok I admit I saw these pics in the daily hate mail but come on, why would you wear these mountanous heels tottering around with your tiny baby in Prada/whatever 3 days in a row... dons hard hat........

This thread is full of ridiculous crap!

Do any of you actually know Victoria and David beckham?

I don't, hence why I would be wrong to spout crap I know nothing about, which most of you are doing!

She carried her baby round prada - so what I carried dd round tesco when she was tiny

she wears heals - wow big deal! Her choice of foot wear does not reflect her parenting skills.

The buggy - she was pictured pushing an i-candy pram, apparently given to her by the company for promotion, maybe there was a nanny or her mum close by that was pushing it with the nappy bag etc.

A picture is just a picture you don't see everything that is going on, you only see what the paps capture and threads like this is what they expect to happen.

Leave the woman alone for christ sake.. She's not kerry katona atleast!

PattySimcox · 17/09/2011 09:23

Totally agree with dracula

Avinalarf · 17/09/2011 09:25

I swear she is carrying that child around to mask a slight c-section bump under her frock. Every time she moves slightly to one side you can see she has the slightest of bumps under her dress - totally normal, but she is probably freaking out about it. Harper is another accessory, clearly. We all know she is that vain, after all.

Avinalarf · 17/09/2011 09:26

'leave the woman alone for christ's sake'

If only I could escape her!

stripeybump · 17/09/2011 09:39

I want a big cashmere blanket for my pfb Envy wonder if she's hiding a couple of skanky muslins under Harper's chin though.

stripeybump · 17/09/2011 09:42

Also I agree that shopping in Prada post-partum sounds remarkably soothing.

I mean, in my opinion she would look wonderful in flats with the same outfit so it is a bit sad and sort of anti-feminist that she feels the need to wear those instruments of torture on her feet instead of some Bloch flats.

WidowWadman · 17/09/2011 09:55

Working mother of four continues life as normal. Shock horror.

Bootcamp · 17/09/2011 10:31

Only thing I find wrong with it is the heels, dangerous when holding a baby. I love to shop, must be fab when you have odles of cash. Btw I am sure nanny is aping too just not in the photos.

Bootcamp · 17/09/2011 10:33

Nanny is around.(hmm)

Bootcamp · 17/09/2011 10:33

Widow. But it's not normal is is it?

southeastastra · 17/09/2011 10:34

oh come on - she courts media attention, she could quite easily go out and not be filmed, i'm sure most of the hollywood A listers can manage it Grin

I carried my last baby lots when I could, although unless dh in tow it's quite hard with a buggy nag bag as well.

Bootcamp · 17/09/2011 10:38

Nag bag? Big bag.

WidowWadman · 17/09/2011 11:16

bootcamp 'normal' is always relative to one's circumstances. For her it is, I'd say.

And all those vilifying her for doing stuff for publicity - you're creating the very market she makes her money in. Hypocritical much?

EggInABap · 17/09/2011 12:25

Why did she never carry any of her 3 boys around like this? And honestly when in a clothes shop do you need to be holding the baby, is it not easier to have her in a pram? It's all a big show, look at me and my mini me. Bore off!

PublicHair · 17/09/2011 13:21

yeah, far better for the baby to be in a pram having lenses shoved in to get pics of it and the pram being shoved through a scrum of people. Confused

i was back at work full time when dd1 was 14 weeks old. i sahm since the 2 others were born...i am not sure what point you're trying to make (and they always carried the second son who is epileptic to shield him from flashes. FYI. and got slated for carrying a child who was too old to be carried. Hmm until his epilepsy came out.

can't do right for doing wrong can they really.

wigglesrock · 17/09/2011 13:29

I carry my third daughter around a lot more than I did with the other 2, mainly because I know she'll be my last and I want to.

LIZS · 17/09/2011 13:33

Surely these pics are staged Hmm VB doesn't just wake up one day and think "I fancy a quick browse in Prada" !

Iactuallylikeabigmac · 17/09/2011 13:38

I think the baby looks like Gordon Ramsay.

thisisyesterday · 17/09/2011 13:39

i seem to recall plenty of pics of her carrying the boys around actually.

Chipsycheese · 17/09/2011 13:39

I wonder if Vicky Beckham is reading this thread?
Maybe she's at home wearing her pj's with bits of cereal from a few days ago on them.
With messy hair and no make up. Snuggling her new baby girl.
The boys are all on the xbox, eating crisps.

queenmaeve · 17/09/2011 13:44

I couldn't bloody wait to take dd shopping when she was a few weeks old. I was like a mad woman after buying 4 ds s clothes for years. You buy boys clothes and its like navy cords, grey jumper, check shirt etc, etc then you go girl baby clothes shopping and its heaven. The dresses, the tights to match, hats, hairbands, shoes, co ordinating cardigans and oh the little tights to match.
Hope Victoria is enjoying every minute of it!

Pawsnclaws · 17/09/2011 13:44

The baby is gorgeous though, isn't she? It wouldn't be my choice of footwear but I can't say it bothers me. Same as for the breastfeeding thing, she's probably only taking three or four steps into a blacked out limo so carrying the baby makes sense - then she can tootle back to the car and feed in private. And whether she's shoving tit or teat into mouth doesn't bother me either.

I feel more sorry for Mel B who had the goddam nerve to appear in public with her baby - in a sling! - looking "tired" and "fat" according to some of the nasty comments I've read. She's just had a baby FFS, aren't we all allowed to look tired and fat then?!
