(original smug thread was in AIBU so this seemed like the right place for it)

For those who don't remember, [[http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/762767-The-SMUG-thread-An-amnesty-if-you-will-Come-and here it , the SMUG AmnESTY IN ALL ITS GLORY}}

So, two years on are you still smug about the same things? Have your good eaters turned fussy? Are your home-ground spices still beautifully arranged in jars? Have your children still never had a filling?

Everyone says that being smug is a magnet for karma to come and bite you on the arse, but has it?

I'm not sure exactly, but DH booked it today - near Redruth I think. It will be fab. Grin

You?

Enjoy!

Right, bed time for me, but thanks for listening to my smuggeries!

DontHassleTheBOF · 22/05/2011 23:45

Golly, this has got nasty Shock

I am going to play with the puppy and think of lovely things.

FellatioNelson · 23/05/2011 07:09

BOF at almost midnight 'I'm going to play with the puppy' sounds like some vaguely filthy euphemism. Wink

shineoncrazydiam0nd · 23/05/2011 08:23

I see Roneef tipped up then under a name change?

Yet again YOU have caused trouble.

People don't like smug do they? Grin

TrillianAstra · 23/05/2011 08:32

Morning.

Have I forgotten to mention that I am smug because I put my coffee machine on a timer last night so there was coffee when I got up?

OP posts:
LRDTheFeministDragon · 23/05/2011 08:51

Ah, but I am more smug because I have a husband for that.

(Shame the coffee is made with the eughy full-fat milk he likes, but we can't have everything can we?)

E-On paid you money?! Bloody heck, how did you manage that? They only ever nick it from us.

EiM - darn, I should be studying too ... the computer's on with a article I need to read up there, does that count?

I like studying into the evening too, 'tis good.

I will admit I was kind of hoping you'd say 'Oh yes, that's what it's like with a baby, you know, you get up in a lazy way at half nine, have a delicious healthy breakfast and bide the time until lunch while Babe plays with heritage wooden toys and burbles a bit of Beethoven from memory ...'

No? Just my fantasy while I'm trying to persuade DH to knock me up? Darn! Grin

LRDTheFeministDragon · 23/05/2011 10:04

Sorry, that was to EiM not Reality, not that I'm not chuffed to hear it's possible to get blood out of a stone.

LRDTheFeministDragon · 23/05/2011 10:05

I'm sorry about your Grandad, too. Sad

Mine left me money so I could study - I'm grateful to him but I know which I'd rather have.
