So, two years on are you still smug about the same things? Have your good eaters turned fussy? Are your home-ground spices still beautifully arranged in jars? Have your children still never had a filling?

Everyone says that being smug is a magnet for karma to come and bite you on the arse, but has it?

I am pretty certain on the first thread I said I was good at baking. I still am!

I'm smug that the DDs are happy and healthy.

That I have a good friendship with XH, despite knowing that he is an utter arse, and that I have a bloody tongue from biting it so hard so often and I have never slagged him off in front of the DDs.
That I have become very good with money.
That I own my own house.
That I have never smoked.

I am no longer smug about my job; I haven't got it any more.
I am still really smug about my dogs.

I have seen a cuter dog than mine. It was in the post office the other day - a springer poodle cross.

But I have two dogs, so am still smugger.
