So, two years on are you still smug about the same things? Have your good eaters turned fussy? Are your home-ground spices still beautifully arranged in jars? Have your children still never had a filling?

Everyone says that being smug is a magnet for karma to come and bite you on the arse, but has it?

I am no longer smug about my arse. It is 2 inches further south now, would probably fail the pencil test (I am too scared to try).

I had severe smug envy about the woman and the spices, and I am a complete spice twat now. I source my own spices and rosast them, and have a dedicated spice grinder to make really smooth goan pastes. I also make my own naan bread and bhajjis. I am a complete knob and can bore you for hours on the subject if you wish.

I wish some of you lot came to the meetup last night - I met Reality for the first time, she is bloody lovely.

Where is lizzylou? Has she left? I loved her, she was one of my favourite MNers.

I'm feeling smug right now because I've just seen a friend win a BAFTA (I'm at home watching it on the telly, not in the audience!) Very pleased for him!

LizzyLou is still here - she is camping this weekend! She got herself a full time job outside of the home instead of working for herself at home, so doesn't post as much during the day.

PMSL at Dog Wars. Shiny I got myself into all sorts of bother when I put a 0 in my name and then tried to upload some photos. It was very traumatic all round.

Reality was hilarious on that thread. I particularly liked 'Fuck off - You are harshing my mellow, man.'

And the spice jar woman. I love the way she said 'I'm waiting for someone to comment on my spice jars'. Ace.

And 'I'm going to rename my house The Smuggery'. Genius.

Eggy! Yes still rather vomit-y. Such is reproducing.

Have almost finished your quilt only the sewing machine bastarding broke last week and am awaiting a part. Have done most by hand, and made my mother do some too (to ensure I do not vomit on the said quilt).

I think I'm in love with the spice jar woman, I want to be her. I do own two pestles and mortars and have my spices lined up lovingly in matching clouded-glass jars (erm, from face cream I've finished).

I'm smug that I have been sober for three and a half months, and I am smug that MN helped me do it. There. Don't often get the chance to say that.
