To not be at all surprised to hear about the latest celeb affair?

DH was quite surprised to hear about Jeremy Clarkson, but I wasnt. Not at all, infact I am surprised to hear if a famous man hasnt had an affair at some point.

They are famous, rich and away from home alot so are bound to be targetted by a certain type of woman. Also, alot of them are cossetted and looked after to the point where they believe that they can get away with things that us mere mortals cant, despite the fact that the paps are following them all the time.

Am I cynical as DH suggests or is he niave?!

The Cleggy thing "30 lovers", didn't he say "NO MORE than 30"? I could be remembering this wrong, but I have the distinct feeling that he made a rubbishy joke rather than a claim. Eg I have slept with no more than 100 people / no more than 23 people etc etc.

OTOH - he is a BIT lovely, no?
