To not be at all surprised to hear about the latest celeb affair?

DH was quite surprised to hear about Jeremy Clarkson, but I wasnt. Not at all, infact I am surprised to hear if a famous man hasnt had an affair at some point.

They are famous, rich and away from home alot so are bound to be targetted by a certain type of woman. Also, alot of them are cossetted and looked after to the point where they believe that they can get away with things that us mere mortals cant, despite the fact that the paps are following them all the time.

Am I cynical as DH suggests or is he niave?!

I'm surprised Clarkson managed to find a second woman who could bear to let him touch her.

Jeremy Clarkson is a self-important mysoginistic twat so i am not surprised at all.

But i do think that some famous men can definitely be faithful.

This isn't even the first time he's been caught out either, its nearly always BBC co-workers ....

I think some men are that famous it wouldnt pay to be unfaithfull. Im thinking the likes of Bono but, then again, maybe the huge ones can get away with anything.

Im not surprised about Jeremy Clarkson, how did he get found out?

It surprises me not one iota that a bell-end like Clarkson would have an affair. What astonishes me is that he's found not one but TWO women who could bear to have sex with him. Mind boggling.

I concur wholeheartedly with clairefromsteps

"Targetted by a certain type of woman"??? Hmm

Or, perhaps, they just can't keep it in their trousers?

Poor men, unable to keep their dicks in their pants when lured by sirens Hmm

are you really claire from Steps?
My DD loved Steps and went to see them in concert
They were crap, completely uninterested in the fans, seemed bored by it all, unbelievably callous toward the people who'd paid to see them

Rant over

Sorry for thread hijack

Clarkson is a prat

as you were

OK so maybe they just can't keep it in their trousers when they are targetted by a certain type of woman.

have you ever seen bono's wife she is beautiful and one classy lady. they have also been togther from school. do you think maybe the likes of bono hasn't been unfaithful because he actually is madly in love with his wife?

I hadn't heard about Clarkson but I'm surprised, to be honest. I don't know what his wife is like but always imagined her as being a bit of a tough cookie to keep bumptious old Jezza in check. Not tough enough, apparently! Still, my experience is that, regardless of income or fame, when presented with an opportunity to play away from home, the world divides neatly into those that take it up and those that don't.
