To not be at all surprised to hear about the latest celeb affair?

DH was quite surprised to hear about Jeremy Clarkson, but I wasnt. Not at all, infact I am surprised to hear if a famous man hasnt had an affair at some point.

They are famous, rich and away from home alot so are bound to be targetted by a certain type of woman. Also, alot of them are cossetted and looked after to the point where they believe that they can get away with things that us mere mortals cant, despite the fact that the paps are following them all the time.

Am I cynical as DH suggests or is he niave?!

kittya · 03/04/2011 22:40

shine, arent you getting Bono and his wife mixed up with Mr and Mrs Sting?

cheekeymonkey · 03/04/2011 22:42

I'm more concerned about Piers having something else to prattle on about!

peeriebear · 03/04/2011 22:46

Isn't that U2 song where Boyzone are in the video (sweetest thing?) an apology to Bono's wife for him having a romp with a Corr? I have no idea where I got that nugget from Confused

SpringHeeledJack · 03/04/2011 22:53

I've had bono and his wife

SpringHeeledJack · 03/04/2011 22:54

and Sting

muminthemiddle · 03/04/2011 22:54

I wouldn't put it past Bono, tbh I would be amazed if he hasn't shagged someone else, the self righteous twat.

Jeremy Clarkson-eeeek, I wonder if he shouts about miles per gallon and carborettas whilst in the throes of passion.

PeterAndreForPM · 03/04/2011 22:57

I had U2

and Bono's wife

and Ronan's wife

at the same time

the ferry from Dun Laoghaire was delayed, it killed a bit of time

Dropdeadfred · 03/04/2011 22:57

The sweetest thing apology was for being in the studio and missing her birthday

squeakytoy · 03/04/2011 22:57

Peerie, it was an apology for forgetting their wedding anniversary, I dont think a Corr was involved... Grin

squeakytoy · 03/04/2011 22:57

wedding anniversary/birthday... I knew it was something he had forgot, not something he bonked! hehe...

SpringHeeledJack · 03/04/2011 22:58

roffle roffle

Northernlurker · 03/04/2011 22:59

I would be surprised about Bono. Not about anybody else really - David Cameron maybe. He seems besotted with Samantha.

OrangeBernard · 03/04/2011 23:00

The one I heard was bono and a female radio 1 dj

muminthemiddle · 03/04/2011 23:01

There all at it.

With the possible exception of Rolf harris.

PeterAndreForPM · 03/04/2011 23:02

I had Rolf in 1979

his stylophone was pretty amazing

squeakytoy · 03/04/2011 23:03

and his didgeridoo?

PeterAndreForPM · 03/04/2011 23:03

oh, and they don't call him "Jake The Peg" for nothing Wink

kittya · 03/04/2011 23:03

I guess if you are up there with Bono, you arent going to mess with groupies are you?

muminthemiddle · 03/04/2011 23:04

Well that confirms it then.

Even Rolf is at it, so therefore trust no-one.

thenightsky · 03/04/2011 23:08
