All mine have had them! Who cares ?

feelingworthless · 25/02/2011 15:29

My kids don't like them but they have a biscuit addiction though..

pjmama · 25/02/2011 15:31

We like McDonalds. Blush

HeathcliffMoorland · 25/02/2011 15:33

I use some supernanny-esque techniques.

Vallhala · 25/02/2011 15:35

My two have been vegetarians all their lives. DD1 (15) has just polished off a can of Coke.

Oh the missing vitamins!

Oh the iron deficiency!

Oh the shame!

:o

DooLallyDally · 25/02/2011 15:38

We may have had the odd fruit shoot and Macdonalds on occassion Blush

coraltoes · 25/02/2011 15:45

don't worry. I had icecream for lunch!

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 25/02/2011 15:47

I have at various times FF, used CC been a SAHM and WOHM and let my kids eat Greggs.

TryingVeryHard · 25/02/2011 15:47

Yep, guilty as charged - MacDonalds fries are a "treat" once in a while. Doesn't like Fruitshoots.

Cazza72 · 25/02/2011 15:47

Erm, mine don't actually like fruit-shoots - I wouldn't object to them having them from time to time if they'd actually drink them!

But (shhhhhhh) kids definately have something sweet (biscuits/choc/sweets) EVERY DAY!!

veg2grow · 25/02/2011 15:53

Occasional fruit - shoots...low sugar but guess it doesn't make it any better.

Choc snack every day as well but she knows she needs to brush her teeth straight after.

My sin today was I had a slice of victoria sandwich instead of a proper lunch...ah what the hell it was a proper lunch as I ate it at 12pm :o

MissVerinder · 25/02/2011 15:54

I have a BROWN SOFA! And it's LEATHER!
DD has fruitshoots every now and then.
We have McDonalds every now and then.
DD has sweets/biscuit/chocolate every day.
I work.
You know that Breastfeeding Nazi everyone talks about? Secretly, that's me...

ChrissyHynde · 25/02/2011 15:55

My kids had super noodles for breakfast.... an occassional treat!

Grandmasterpudge · 25/02/2011 15:56

Cazza72 · 25/02/2011 15:58

ooo - yes, I work full time too .. AND also have a brown leather sofa! I wasn't aware until I entered the realm of MN that it was such a interior no-no to be honest!

MissVerinder · 25/02/2011 15:59

Oh, Cazza, but I also shop at Poundland for my garden bits; surely you haven't sunk that low...

HenriettaFarthingay · 25/02/2011 16:00

Took mine out yesterday after school, fed them coke and cakes at a coffee shop. 'twas a special treat. They came home to a good dinner.

ENormaSnob · 25/02/2011 16:02

Fucking hell i'll be here all day if I start confessing.

We had burger king for lunch.

I am looking at buying a 4x4 because I like being high up.

I work but still send dc to cm even if I am on a day off.

I have wooden flooring throughout my new-build.

I shop at asda/tesco.

I buy whatever red wine is on offer.

I spend a lot of money on me and never feel remotely guilty.

We have a 2 week package holiday every year.

Other peoples kids get on my nerves.

Cazza72 · 25/02/2011 16:02

but I LIKE my sofa! In fact I love it :)
Erm, no not been to Poundland for garden bits .. but then I hate gardening other than buying plants for hanging baskets that I am rubbish at doing and die within a couple of weeks! Every year .. I swear I'm buying ready done this year, would be more economical in the long run!

TryingVeryHard · 25/02/2011 16:03

Well if it's confession time, I'd like to join the club of the brown leather sofa owners working full-time and feeding biscuits to their DC. Where shall I send my application?

DurhamDurham · 25/02/2011 16:07

I not only let my two teen girls watch crap tv (Big Brother, Take Me Out, I'm a Celebrity) I watch it with them.

And enjoy it!!

PigValentine · 25/02/2011 16:08

What's wrong with brown leather sofas?!

Mine was from Ikea and cost £262. Does that make it worse or better?!

MissVerinder · 25/02/2011 16:11

PigValentine Noooooooooooo..... Ikea? You soooo bad!
EnormaSnob- I also shop at tesco, have laminate- not wood, laminate- floors, a massive Touran People carrier, and let 2.6 dd watch FILMS! All the way through.

tulip27 · 25/02/2011 16:12

I have started to laugh at he Boden wearing families I see when I am out.
