There is are two couples on This Morning just now talking about their love for swinging. They're just your normal looking every day couples. One couple own a swinging hotel and they do to clubs.

I find this really sleazy and just plain weird. She's saying that it's really common amongst primary school teachers too!!

Eeeew I bet they'll be swapping after the show.

AIBU to think this is a very strange thing to do and be so open about?

Are chinos allowed? Confused

ILovedYou · 13/01/2011 13:34

Also i witnessed 3 separate arguments and women trying to flounce out of the club after becoming jealous.

Seemed to me that the women were there to keep their man. One partner wanted to be there more than the other. Male or female.

It also reeked of disinfectant. Plastic sheeting and waterproof covers! VILE!

Orgy room, by the jacuzzi! reminded me of the Indianna Jones scene - the writhing pit of snakes. They say romance is dead!

I'm now on a mission to find a swingers club with decor that I approve of

ChickensFlyingUnderTheRadar · 13/01/2011 13:37

Loving the gold bin in the bogs

JamieLeeCurtis · 13/01/2011 13:40

that's more the sort of thing I'd expect Chickens. Love the photo=shopped barman in the bar area!

JamieLeeCurtis · 13/01/2011 13:41

... sorry - he's in the Cloakroom. Check it out

Malificence · 13/01/2011 13:42

There is a swingers club in a nearby town, if you knew the area, you would want to go wearing hazmat gear, full face mask and white wellies, and dip your feet in disinfectant before and after entering - it's that grim.

I only chanced upon it because I was googling for the Atlantis holiday resort in the Bahamas, I saw this -
www.atlantis-club.co.uk/clubtour.htm

I mean, how desperate do you have to be to be seen dead in a place like that?

Starbuck999 · 13/01/2011 13:46

Fbwife - I totally agree with you and I really do understand why you choose to meet other couples.

It is NOT an affair. It is fully discussed and agreed between you both.

Malificence... Can you really not see how it enriches their joint sex life?
Many of us enjoy exciting sex lives, many want to push the boundaries and explore all new options and ideas. There are some fantasies and sexual pleasures that just cannot be fulfilled with just two people. Now of course many people (like yourself) do not want to explore these new options, but to say fbwife's sex life can't be that great or is in someway failing just because her and her husband have mutually decided to have sex with other couples is just not correct.
Good luck to you - clearly it works for you!

Hullygully · 13/01/2011 13:49

ILovedYou · 13/01/2011 13:50

God that is a PALACE in comparison to the absolute shit hole we went to Shock

Malificence · 13/01/2011 13:51

No, I really can't see how it enriches their life in any way, shape or form.

The very basic fact is that are both saying that their partner is not good enough for them sexually.

I can just about see it, if both were bisexual, but even then I don't understand why they would marry and have a family.

I do think there's something wrong with people who enjoy seeing their partner have sex with someone else.

Not natural for an accountant to flip up her white skirt next to me at the bar and have the guy standing next to me also hump her.

Does this not suggest he had also humped you? Now don't be shy.

kreecherlivesupstairs · 13/01/2011 13:52

Lequeen you beat me to it. Shame there isn't a picture of the new carpets.
I was most interested in the smoking area. It looks pretty grim, they'd propped open a door which didn't add to the glamour suggested by the tinsel trees.

Hullygully · 13/01/2011 13:53

Mal and LeQueen: smuggity old smugs from smug town.

And just because the idea doesn't appeal to you, it doesn't make it wrong. Different strokes etc.

I am weeping with laughter at that link. "Sexy dancing" ahahahahahahahahahaha

Wow what an eye-opener (the Atlantis one). I didn't even realise places like this existed.

Christ.

I didn't even know it was legal to let people have sex in rooms and stuff.

Not sure why not.

I am rather naive about the world I think. Yikes!
