There is are two couples on This Morning just now talking about their love for swinging. They're just your normal looking every day couples. One couple own a swinging hotel and they do to clubs.

I find this really sleazy and just plain weird. She's saying that it's really common amongst primary school teachers too!!

Eeeew I bet they'll be swapping after the show.

AIBU to think this is a very strange thing to do and be so open about?

oops, I meant that she didn't actually actually know how to give oral sex. D'uh

ledkr · 16/01/2011 13:23

did anyone watch sexetra last night,it showed a swinging club and i have to say it was as creepy as i imagined. They were mostly quite attractive(ish)women but a fair amount of unattractive men,the club was couples only but unsurprisingly let single GIRLS in.
There seemed to be a lot of gratuitous lesbian action which of course the men were loving,i say gratuitous cos i cannot believe such a high percentage of women are bi sexual so were actually doing it for themselves and not the men.As woman and a feminist i must say it struck me as a bit geared up to suit the men.
Still dont care if people do it tho,its just not my bag.

Deciduousblonde · 16/01/2011 13:28

I agree with you chaya5738.

The sex life I have with my DH is nothing like when we first got together 16 years ago. It's BETTER!!!! I thought it was good to start with...and it was. I think it helps if you don't go through the Kama Sutra within the first year of your relationship Wink

Swinging isn't my bag either. If some like it or even love it then that's fine, but it isn't for me. I don't like the idea of DH being with anyone else, and he feels the same.

Althoguh he has 'joked' about watching me with another woman..but that's for another thread Grin

Totally, LeQueen.

I think it's perfectly natural to 'forsake all others' when you are married.

Otherwise, what's the point? if you aren't married, then fine. But I woudn't wantt o share the love of my life with anyone.

But equally there is a huge industry pedalling clothing, toys, videos, swings, leather, costumes, uniforms, fetish gear etc etc etc that isn't about monogamy - which isn't a fetish, btw, a sexual fetish involves a physical object, monogamy is more about an agreement, if you are using the correct terminology.

I used to attend erotica every year, and it was a huge money making machine, rather more than a couple of tame Karma Sutra for married videos advertised in the back of the Sun?

And I'm assuming a lot of these websites aren't free? And quite a few of them probably run as a moneymaking enterprise?

And surely relationship counselling can be used in any situation - my husband wants to swing more than I do? My husband wants to have sex with another man and I don't want him to, I want to get fisted by another man but my husband won't let me etc etc wouldn't they all be sexual relationship issues? Wouldn't you be entitled to discuss those wi a relationship counsellor as much as a couple with a mismatched monogamous sex life? Or are you being self discriminatory?

ledkr · 16/01/2011 13:38

yes i think most men think they would be turned on by their woman with a woman but i think that is the media tbh.I have been chatted up by women twice when clubbing with dh and altho he was bemused i dont think he'd have liked me to take it any further.I was very flattered they were both stunning.

ledkr · 16/01/2011 13:42

Le queen you very rarely see men sucking each other off for womens titilation do you?
Yeah i aggree "oo i just love pussy" whilst heaving silently as you feel like you are licking a wet mackrel Grin

chaya5738 · 16/01/2011 13:48

'Yes, yes, of course I see you as a free and liberated young woman, who is merely exercising her right to experiment with her sexuality. Yes, of course I do...now, just bend over this bar stool, while me and Tony and Nigel and Frank and that bloke over by the door all do you from behind...'

Again, EXACTLY!

It is what Ariel Levy talks about in Female Chauvinist Pigs. Women's sex liberation is often a particular form of sexuality - that which arouses men.

MsSparkle · 16/01/2011 13:48

"Yeah i aggree "oo i just love pussy" whilst heaving silently as you feel like you are licking a wet mackrel"

PMSL!Grin

Quote of the week for me!

chaya5738 · 16/01/2011 13:50

Eeew, wet mackrel.

ledkr, you are dead right there!

I think that if I were to introduce DH to another woman and tell him he can sit there and watch he would be mortified.

He has just told me that he would be scared I was enjoying myself rather too much Wink

Binfullofmaggotsonthe45 · 16/01/2011 13:58

That is a bit much though, isn't it like suggested that we all have a dead wet mackerel? And that our husbands enjoy licking dead mackerel?

I prefer to think of mine as moist tender ham, sometimes salted sometimes not, but always juicy.

chaya5738 · 16/01/2011 13:59

Again I think there is also a huge gap between fantasy and reality. I can understand a fantasy concerning group sex, swinging or whatever. But the reality would be quite different - like what Ilovekevin described.

So as much as my husband my say the idea of me with a woman is titilating, I reckon he would FREAK if I actually brought a woman home.

chaya5738 · 16/01/2011 14:00

I think it would be like licking a dead mackerel if you weren't actually attracted to it.

My gay friend describes having sex with a woman as like putting his penis between two chicken breasts. Completely unarousing and slightly sickening.

Deciduousblonde · 16/01/2011 14:05

Indeed.

Fantasy is fine. I know he fantasises about me with another woman, and I have actually fantasised about him with another woman too (although strangely enough, not another man!) and we have told each other this.

The reality? both of us would run in the other direction, make no mistake.

chaya5738 · 16/01/2011 14:10

While we are on the subject of homosexuality/lesbianism, it actually pissed me off when FBWife said criticising swinging was like gay-bashing. As far as see it being gay is WHO YOU ARE, it is your identity, an innate characteristic. Swinging is an activity. I would find gay swinging just as unappealing as heterosexuals doing it (although, again, I think men's sexuality can be quite different as there isn't the same power imbalance in men v men as with men v women).

Next thing you know FBWife will be accusing us of being Nazis...

Binfullofmaggotsonthe45 · 16/01/2011 14:12

Rather than putting his penis in a tea towel holder? Grin

My sons god daddies supporting adults described a similar scenario to me.

I also wonder where their racy "gay lifestyle" is as has been asked on here, as it all seems to get lumped in with swinging, fetish, and sexual behaviour rather than a genetic predilection, or sexual orientation.

I spend every other weekend with them and never witness them in assless chaps and motorcycle hats which is probably a good thing as we normally do the big shop in Asda and then visit one of their mums at an old folks home.

Although tbf in Brighton no one would blink an eyelid I'm sure at anyone in assless chaps pushing a trolley.

MissQue · 16/01/2011 14:13

Binful - the thought of seeing my dad doing anything sexual makes me heave Grin (where's the pukey smiley???)

Oblomov · 16/01/2011 14:38

"But equally there is a huge industry pedalling clothing, toys, videos, swings, leather, costumes, uniforms, fetish gear etc etc etc that isn't about monogamy "
Binfull, do you think that is all anti monogomy ? I don't. Things like rabbits, tongues, love balls, cock rings, are all pretty mainstream now. Hardly anti relationship.

Gay40 · 16/01/2011 15:38

If you think fanny is like dead mackerel, you need to pop yourself in the bath.
Saying that, I think all cock is like sweaty knob cheese, which is just as silly a sweeping generalisation.

ledkr · 16/01/2011 15:45

gay i am about to pop so have an excuse i was worried that would piss you off,i just mean for me as a hetro it would maybe be like that and a lot of pure hetros feel they have to "preform" with females to titilate their men,im sure you wouldnt like to suck a cock just to turn on your partner.I think you may be right about a lot of cocks too Grin
