A baby's head is coming out of their vagina.

So, fuck yes, there's a need!

BluTac · 10/01/2011 22:03

Is that you Tom?

FlyingFig · 10/01/2011 22:03

Hate the way women feel the need to get all competitive about child birth - no one hands out medals so why be sanctamonious about it?

DanceInTheDark · 10/01/2011 22:03

I wasn't aware i was doing it, i was so out of it!

bees474 · 10/01/2011 22:03

YABVVVVU It depends really- if it feels like you are being torn in two as you struggle with a huge baby back to back after twenty four hours of fruitless contractions then YES YOU BLOODY WELL MIGHT

ThatVikRinA22 · 10/01/2011 22:04

as someone who was quiet as a mouse....yabu! its whatever helps them!
does it hurt anyone else? no!

Articulate · 10/01/2011 22:04

Why shouldn't they? It hurts a fair bit usually.

SlowComfortableShrew · 10/01/2011 22:04

You are clearly a man. Try shitting a football then fuck off.

AuntiePickleBottom · 10/01/2011 22:04

i have 2 children, it just be me that didn't find labour painful, i even had a fantastic sleep during both of mine.

only had gas and air.

OP posts:
roomonthebroom · 10/01/2011 22:04

It can help to relieve the pain and all women are different, some scream and shout, some don't. Why do you care?

agedknees · 10/01/2011 22:04

Try and put your mouth over the top of your head. It hurts, yes.

Well giving birth hurts 100 times more.

YABU.

Sanctimonious is the word Angry

QuintessentialShadows · 10/01/2011 22:05

Why women scream during labour? It is a primeval battle cry, to spur us on, like men yell when drawing a sword or dagger at the enemy. The situation calls for it!

I went from 3 to 10 cm dilated in less than 5 minutes, I could feel my hips open up, and I thought I was going to poo out a watermelon. I yelled like an Amazon.

hobbgoblin · 10/01/2011 22:05

dunno but is primal really so even if not you aren't exactly going to stop it. Anyone suppressed enough to be able probably would not have a baby up there anyhow...

allnightlong · 10/01/2011 22:05

Grin Queen hehe I'll go with bucket fanjo for OP.

bees474 · 10/01/2011 22:05

Spenguin · 10/01/2011 22:05
