you can't turn around without seeing the blasted woman. I don't buy magazines, I don't have a TV, I don't watch X factor, I don't read sleb blogs yet you just can't get away from the woman. Today I walked into town, she was in shop windows advertising her fake hair, in waterstones advertising her book (probably about how "brave" she has been) I just cannot understand the mania over her. I mean, what exactly has she done that is so chuffing amazing ? Had her husband cheat on her and eventually kicked him to the curb after about the 8th occasion ? It's hardly unusual, is it ? Adn why does everyone keep describing her as "brave" ? Brave is keeping on going after you've had your legs blown off in a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. And don't get me started on the racist attack.
I cannot believe that this woman is generally accepted as a good role model for girls, she appears to me to be the complete epitome of a simpering moron, trussed up like a Christmas turkey. I despair for our daughters

Good, I feel better after letting that out

"

Erm, I think I covered that quite comprehensively in my OP. I don't have a TV yet still cannot avoid her omnipresence

But she's so pretty and smiley and pretty and smiley Shock. And her hair's so glossy. Isn't that enough for you?

scottishmummy · 22/10/2010 20:44

she keeps the dullards occupied and not finking about politics and hard stuff or nuffink

Fibilou · 22/10/2010 20:44

Daftpunk, lots of people are lovely. It is not, however, a talent for which you should be hailed as some sort of national heroine

Merle · 22/10/2010 20:46

She is pretty. That's about it. Her music is dire. The fascination with her amazes me.

YANBU.

daftpunk · 22/10/2010 20:46

I only ever see her on the Xfactor and advertising shampoo or something, is she everywhere then?

I love looking at her, she's so pretty.

sharbie · 22/10/2010 20:48

Grin clocks

sharbie · 22/10/2010 20:50

she is truly a chav role model

NomDePlume · 22/10/2010 20:50

Yes, she is annoying and pointless

Like you, I don't buy the shitty mags and tabloids she whores herself out to features in and nor do I watch her tv progs/interviews.

I don't feel sick of her because I don't expose myself to her. A few cardboard cut outs in a shop window would not draw my attention.

I am immune to Chezza, 'tis bliss

JinnyS · 22/10/2010 20:51

Yadnbu

WannabeNigella · 22/10/2010 20:52

She is very pretty and a far better role model than many that are out there. (Not because of the prettiness obviously).

Yes, before you all say it, I am well aware of her mistake when she was younger. But she has worked her arse off, even if her work isn't to your taste, to get where she is today. She is cute, hardworking, you never see her falling around pissed or constantly slagging people off.

I'm not saying you should drop at her feet and kiss them, but there's not really any reason to slate the girl and I think the "damn those clocks" comment is a bit rough ScottishMummy. Hmm

Tinalovestuna · 22/10/2010 20:52

Yadnbu. She is so up her own arse. And her teeth were minging before she had work on them.

daftpunk · 22/10/2010 20:53

Damn those clocks, What does that mean?

WannabeNigella · 22/10/2010 20:54

Daft - I believe it was a reference to the fact she had only 24hrs to live Hmm
